Having been born into the travel industry with my father working for a major European airline, I have been lucky enough to grow up with the world at my feet. Over the years, I've traveled to most continents with the exception of South America and Australasia and I hope that these are areas I can tick off my list in the next few years with my son in tow, a joy for travel clearly runs in our genes.
I have a real passion for tropical islands but I also love to visit places where I can indulge in some culture and of course amazing dining experiences. For the last 20 years I have traveled extensively in the Caribbean and love the destination for its laid back relaxed charm, fantastic climate and smiling faces. Each island is completely unique and it is more down to your personality when choosing which island to stay on.My blogs

Hard as it can be to tear yourself away from a gorgeous beach make an effort to explore your destination even if just for half a day. You'll get so much more from your trip and do this early on during your stay as you may find you want to do more.
When traveling with young children on long flights pack a handful of secret surprises wrapped in pretty paper that you can pull out of the bag for when they get restless, it can buy you some precious moments of peace!
Olive oil is a great skin and hair conditioner so if you ever run out of your products have a friendly word with the chef.
