Death Valley National Park by Jeep
Departing directly from Vegas' Strip, your experienced driver/guide will take you to explore the wonders of the mysterious Death Valley National Park. The custom-built vehicle is designed to comfortably take you across the rugged desert landscapes, allowing you to reach places of interest deep within the park. Highlights include the Salt Pans at Furnace Creek and those awe-inspiring views from Dante's Viewpoint which towers over 5,000ft above the valley floor.
On route into the park, stop at the visitor centre where you can pick up maps for your journey and even a stamp for your passport. You will then head to Badwater Basin which sits 282 feet below sea level, making it the lowest point in the western hemisphere. The salt pans are next on the agenda before taking in the Devil's Golf Course, so named because 'only the devil could play golf on such rough links'. Rain and wind batter this salt pan creating incredibly serrated terrain which is constantly changing shape. Following this, pay a visit to the viewpoint where you can enjoy sweeping panoramic views of salt rivers and mountains. Ending on a high, you will then be driven back to the Strip.
