This full day visit will take you to two of Mexico's most remote archaeological sites, buried deep within the jungles of Chiapas state. Begin with a drive to Bonampak, where you can observe impressive murals which depict life in Mayan times and are incredibly well preserved. Then board a small boat and head down river to the ruins of Yaxchilán, which emerge from the jungle, many sections of which have not yet been fully excavated.
