Brilliant experience of Nepal with a fantastic array of landscapes including the Annapurna Region and Chitwan National Park
The itinerary includes a three night stay in the Annapurna Region, a must on a trip to Nepal
Experience the charm and heritage of Kathmandu
Nepal has a Monsoonal climate with four main seasons. Autumn and spring are the two most favourable seasons for visiting Nepal. Autumn (September to early December) brings in clear weather with sunny days and warm nights. Spring (March to May) with occasional rain falls. From June to September, is the monsoon season. Uncomfortable time to visit as the climate of Nepal at this time of year brings about hot weather and rain falls almost every day.
This fast paced itinerary provides a great introduction to Nepal with the chance to see all the highlights. During the trip you will be treated to the vibrant city of Kathmandu and the serene mountain views of the Annapurnas; experience of the Seti River alongside one of the best wildlife parks in Asia.
Your first stop in Nepal will be Kathmandu where you will be able to find your feet after your international flight.
On your day of arrival, you can make a visit to two UNESCO sites, Pashupatinath and Boudanath. The next day, you will visit the ancient city of Bhaktapur.
Optional activities include aeroplane or helicopter flight over Mount Everest at an additional expense.
Today you will set off for your adventure in the Annapurna’s. After a short flight to Pokhara you will meet your team of guides and porters who will expertly lead you through this spectacular area of the world.
This itinerary features the more adventurous but rewarding 4-day trek through Birethanti, Ghandruk and Dhampus. For those who prefer a more relaxing trek, you may consider adding another day in Landruk, or doing a less challenging 4-day trek through Majgaon instead.
For the first day of your trek, you will follow through the ridgeline of Annapurna foothills with scenic views of the Pokhara Valley. The trek takes about 3-4 hours.
Today's restarts with walking through farmland along Modi River Valley before beginning to climb out of the valley and into the mountains. The trail goes through small villages, cultivated rice fields and lush forest with awesome views of the valley underneath. The trek takes 5-6 hours.
Wake up in time for the magnificent sunrise over snow-capped Himalayas peaks. After breakfast, continue on a 8-10 hour trek to Basanta Lodge, which boasts great views of the entire Annapurna Range, at Dhampus.
This is a challenging trek for the adventurous. For those who prefer a more relaxing trek, we recommend to add another day to break the journey in Landruk.
Today you will leave the mountains behind as you trek back to Pokhara, passing grazing buffaloes and goats on your way, following the Modi River. At the end of the trek you will be met by your private transfer to spend one night in the relaxing city of Pokhara. As an adventurist’s dream, Pokhara offers a whole host of adrenaline pumping activities, however after the trek we recommend taking this time to relax in the lovely surroundings with views over the Phewa Lake.
Today, you will fly to Chitwan National Park. Over the next two days you will be treated to jeep, walking or river safaris with the hope of spotting inhabitants such as the one horned rhino, hog deer, leopard and possibly even the Royal Bengal Tiger.
For your final day in Nepal you will take a short flight back to Kathmandu to have one night here before connecting on to your international flight home or onward destination!
