The best time to visit climate-wise is in spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when the daytime temperatures aren't too extreme. Winter can be cold and rainy in some areas.
Opening in Spring 2020, Six Senses Shaharut will be an integrated wellness resort set at the breathtaking Negev Desert in the Arava Valley.
Designed to seamlessly blend with the surrounding desert topography, Six Senses Shaharut houses 58 suites and villas built from local rocks and pigments, finished off with cacti and desert bloom landscaping. The signature Six Senses Spa will feature treatment rooms with steam, sauna and hammams.
On-site facilities include the Earth Lab where guests can take an in-depth look to immerse in Six Senses' sustainability efforts and reconnect with the natural world through simple life-hacks, the Cinema Paradiso open-air amphitheatre beneath the stars, a tented Bedouin dining experience at the heart of the desert oasis demonstrated through centuries-old sand cooking technique, camel stables with grooming area where the camels set out from.
Children are welcomed in the hotel.
