Located in town of Seljuk, Ephesus Museum houses a large collection of artefacts found in Ephesus and its surrounding areas including Cukurici Mound, the basilica of St John and the Temple of Artemis.
Built in 200 BC the Terrace Houses highlight the remains of homes once belonging to wealthy inhabitants, leading them to also be known as the "houses of the rich" or "palaces on the slopes". Nowadays bold paintings remain depicting gladiators, caricatures and animals.
