The best of both worlds - a private 19 acre estate on one of the more vibrant islands in the BVIs. Valley Trunk offers world class accommodation and dining, with the ability to still get out and see some of the most famous attractions in the archipelago.
Named after the island of Virgin Gorda’s endemic trunk back turtles, enjoy over 19 acres of private beachfront estate for your exclusive use
As the property was originally built as a family home, the collection of 10 suites offers communal living while also providing enough space to find a quiet spot to relax
Enjoy a relaxing cruise across the crystal waters with complimentary use of the property’s 68' motor yacht Xanadu (you just pay for the fuel) – from beach picnics to sunset cocktails, the list is endless!
The all-inclusive property features a resident Michelin-starred private chef who can whip up meals to suit your preferences – whether it’s a gastronomic delight or a simply indulgent burger and fries
Originally built as a lavish family home over thirty years ago, Valley Trunk lies amongst 19 acres of lush private estate on the island of Virgin Gorda. Accessible by boat, helicopter or private plane charter, Virgin Gorda is one of the largest British Virgin Islands, and is made up of rolling hills, stunning geographic rock formations and pristine beaches.
The beach at Valley Trunk is bordered by the whole property, making this one of the most private stretches of sand in the entire Caribbean. Dotted with hammocks and backed by beautifully maintained tropical gardens, the west-facing beach will provide sunsets that will stay with you forever.
In addition to the incredible surroundings you are also able to take advantage of seeing the British Virgin Islands from the water, aboard Valley Trunk's own 68' motor yacht, Xanadu. Fully crewed and ready to go whenever you are, the use of Xanadu means you really get to see what these magical islands are all about, both on land, and on the water.
Dining is taken care of by double Michelin star chef Bernard Guilhaudin, who will happily tailor his mouth-watering menu to your individual tastes, and you can choose your location too, from the comfort of breakfast in Bali House, through to dinner by firelight on the beach where you can feel the sand between your toes - nothing will be too much trouble.
When you rise from a state of total relaxation, there is a host of activities to do on the estate, from taking to the water on paddleboards, a full service spa, a floodlit tennis court, fitness room and even a cinema room for you to enjoy.
When to visit
A BVI must do is to head to the Baths, a natural wonder of giant boulders creating hidden lagoons and caves, with signposted trails taking you on an adventure over (and in!) the water
