Situated just south of the equator, the Seychelles have a warm tropical climate. The consistently warm tropical weather makes the Seychelles a good year round destination.
There is little fluctuation in warmth, with temperatures ranging from 24C to 31C all year round. From May to October a southeast trade wind can bring marginally cooler weather and fresh breezes. From November to March the northwest monsoon wind blows, typically raising temperature and humidity. December and January are the wettest months, but the rain falls in short sharp bursts before the sun comes out again.

Spacious, luxurious rooms, offering a separate seating area, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Ideal for three adults or two adults and one child. Two of the Senior Suites are interconnecting.
L'Archipel welcomes children over the age of 3 years, however there are no specific facilities available for children at the hotel.
L'Archipel has two excellent restaurants, La Feuille d'Or on the first floor offering panoramic views and La Gigolette on the beach, both offering a variety of international and Creole cuisine featuring locally caught seafood and fresh local produce. The hotel hosts spectacular barbecues on the beach and weekly themed nights. If you are lucky during a fishing trip, the chef will be delighted to cook your catch.
Between the swimming pool and the restaurant is the bar & cocktail lounge, there is also a Beach Bar with live entertainment twice a week.
There are plenty of things to do at L'Archipel and around the island of Praslin. The hotel has an infinity pool and billiard room, and the hotel's watersports centre provides canoes, snorkelling equipment and paddleboards free of charge to its guests. The helpful staff can also assist you in arranging a professional guide for scuba diving, fishing and excursions to neighbouring islands in one of the hotel's own power boats, Lady Caroline and Pti Coco.

I love L'Archipel for it's simple and relaxed style. It offers a true Seychellois experience in an informal setting. The beach is beautiful and a great place to watch the local fisherman coming in with their catch. This is a charming boutique hotel located on one of my favourite islands in the Seychelles, and it offers a great base to explore Praslin and the surrounding islands.

L'Archipel is a lovely small hidden boutique hotel situated on the shores of the Cote d'Or Bay, a lovely little spot to go swimming, kayaking or just lie on the beach reading a book under the shade of the trees. The hotel is very understated, scattered around the hillside with lovely little pathways and manicured gardens. There are two restaurants to dine in and a main pool to swim in. Some of the rooms have been recently renovated giving a much brighter and lighter overall look.

L'Archipel is a beautiful hotel with a nice intimate feel to it. The hotel has two excellent restaurants, popular with both hotel guests and locals and visitors to the island of Praslin. Twice a year they have a Michelin star chef from France visit to create new menus with the chef and team there so diners are in for a real treat!
From November through to April there is a nice breeze, making it not feel so humid but guests will find this wind does bring in seaweed on the beach. The hotel does clear this daily but I feel it is important to point this out if you are staying during these months.

L'Archipel is a very secluded and private resort set in a really peaceful location on the island of Praslin. It has a very relaxed feel to it, and offers just 32 simple rooms. It is a great base to go out and about and explore the beautiful island of Praslin. For breakfast your tables are set right on the beach. It is ideal for couples and honeymooners alike.

Set tucked away down a long driveway is this charming little hotel. The feel is very informal here and the welcome relaxed, the staff are pleasant and smiling and make you feel at home.
The main area offers a very nice swimming pool and deck leading into a two tiered bar and restaurant. The downstairs restaurant is lovely, with tables set out on the sandy beach, perfect for al fresco breakfast or lunch. The beach is not private, locals can stroll along and part of the charm of staying here is watching the fishermen come back with their catch. It is a really good beach for strolling along and observing the local daily life.
All the rooms have balconies with lovely sea views although they're not particularly private. Ask for a room further up the hill for the most privacy and best views.
L'Archipel is a hotel best used as a comfortable relaxed base rather than somewhere you spend all your time. The island is yours to discover from here with opportunities for days out and eating out. Come back to this home from home after a day out, put your feet in the sand as the sun sets and relax in your island home.
Please note the L'Archipel will be closed for renovations from the 1st May 2020 - 31st July 2020
