Odzala Lango Camp is an authentic safari camp tucked onto the edge of the rainforest with panoramic views over the majestic Lango Bai. With only six rooms, Odzala Lango provides an exclusive safari experience for anyone in search of a unique holiday.

Each of the six rooms are nestled into the forest with spectacular views over the river and the plains. The rooms have been inspired by the native B'Aja Pygmy groups and are raised almost 15ft above the forest floor to allow for the best possible views and a completely unique experience. All of the materials have been locally sourced and the rooms are built out of sustainably harvested timber, bamboo and locally woven raffia palm roofing. Floating wooden decks connect the rooms to the main area which has a star deck and a fire pit, the perfect spot to relax after dinner.

Lango is perfect for anyone looking for a more active safari experience, the activities are mainly a combination of walking and boating safaris. You can take a walk in the Bai River which is an incredible experience, allowing you to gain a better understanding of the wildlife in the area from a completely different perspective. Take a boat trip upstream and into the forest to try and spot the rare primate species such as the Putty Nosed Monkey and the Grey Cheeked Monkey. Daily game drives can also be organised and you can go in search species such at Forest Buffalo, Forest Elephant and the elusive Sitatunga.

Odzala Lango is perfect for the more adventurous types who feel that they have seen everything that Africa has to offer and want to experience something completely different from the usual safari experience.

All of the rooms are connected to the main living area by raised wooden walkways. The main area has a dining area at one end and at the other, a comfortable lounge area. Both have open sides and you can sit and watch the wildlife as it comes to drink from the river. Just below the dining and living area is a fire pit and star gazing deck which is the perfect spot to relax after an exciting days exploring.

Odzala Lango offers something a bit different from the traditional daily game drives. Walking and boating trips are the most popular activities which gives guests a unique opportunity to experience this incredible environment from a different perspective.
