A fantastic island hopping experience, perfect for the adventurous that enjoy water sports and being pampered on remote palm tree-fringed, turquoise seas, white sandy beaches.
Island hopping The Philippines is the best way to explore some of the over 7,000 islands in the country. With the white sandy beaches, turquoise seas and an abundance of water sports you are spoilt for choice.
Discover Panglao Island, and Amorita, which stands high on a cliff at the eastern end of Alona Beach, where it commands wonderful views of the beach and the sea beyond. Amorita is an intimate boutique hotel and as its name suggests, is perfect for honeymooners with a romantic atmosphere. Its location is ideal for exploring the wonders of Panglao and Bohol. For sun worshippers you can enjoy some of the best beaches in the Philippines, Momo beach is particularly special as it remains very much unspoilt. If you are fascinated by marine life, head underwater to explore it by diving or snorkelling, alternatively you can stay above water and watch dolphins. Amorita also provides a superb Bohol sightseeing tour which takes you to the main attractions in the province, such as the Chocolate Hills, the man-made Forest and to see the Tarsier monkeys. At night, there are several bars and restaurants nearby for you to venture to, or you can of course stay within the quiet vicinity of the hotel and enjoy a private dinner for two.
Next island hop is over to Bulalacao Island to the Two Seasons Island Resort & Spa, which is located in the remote northern Palawan region, just off Coron Island. It is set with a beautiful backdrop of crystal clear seas and very impressive limestone scenery, whilst boasting picture perfect beaches, along with a sandbar that connects to an islet that hosts a vibrant house reef. There are plenty of activities to enjoy from a large choice of watersports, such as paddle boards and boats, catamarans, kayaking, water skiing, kiteboarding, windsurfing and even a hydrobob submersible scooter to name just a few. An absolute must is a day trip to Coron Island to take in the most incredible limestone formation scenery and enjoy kayaking and snorkelling around lagoons and lakes.
Finally, it’s a short flight to Boracay Island, which is ideal for those that seek a bit of atmosphere, as it boasts a variety of restaurants and bars to keep you entertained. Perfectly positioned on a little slice of paradise on famous White Sand Beach, Fridays Boracay boasts an enviable location. The resort is nestled amongst tropical gardens and shady coconut trees. If you can tear yourself away from simply relaxing on the pristine white powder sandy beach or by the freshwater swimming pool, there are plenty of activities on offer from water sports, diving and pampering massages to the hotel being able to arrange fly fishing, mountain biking, sailing and kite surfing.
