The best and most popular times to visit Japan are the climatically stable seasons of spring (March to May) and autumn (late September to November). The highlight of spring is the cherry-blossom season, which usually arrives in early April. Autumn is an equally good time to travel, with pleasant temperatures and soothing autumn colours, which usually peak between late October and mid-November. Of course, you can visit Japan anytime although the summer, from June to August, can be very hot and humid, and winter can be a little chilly for some people’s taste.

As the capital of Kansai, Osaka is a bustling metropolis packed with both modern and cultural attractions. Depending on your arrival flight times, we may need to spend the first night in Osaka or if you arrive earlier, you will have some leisure time to explore Osaka's vibrant streets at your own pace.

On your final day, we have included a visit to the award-winning Suntory Yamazaki Distillery where you can learn about the birth of Japanese whisky, before continuing into Take-no-Michi's bamboo-lined pathways. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
