The climate in Greece is warm and sunny for the majority of the year with the risk of the odd shower of rain and some cooler periods over the winter. From April/May onwards the weather settles but it can sometimes be cool in the evenings. By mid/end of May, the weather generally settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August when it can be very hot. Good weather continues into October making it a good option for late season too.
Located above the popular family friendly beach hotel, Eagles Palace, Eagles Villas is a collection of luxury sea view villas, with private pools. Ideal for younger children, there's a great Explorers kids club and our popular Aqua watersports programme.
Eagles Villas are the newly created extension to the popular Eagles resort, located near Ouranoupolis on the Halkidiki Peninsula. Renowned for its warm and friendly, hospitality, Eagles is situated on one of the best long sandy beaches on the Aegean Coast, in Greece and as such, draws many repeat guests year-on-year.
The focus at Eagles is most definitely the beach and the water. The sand is golden and slopes gently down to shallow waters - making it perfect for younger children and babies. The watersports centre has a good range of equipment, including Quba dinghies, a Hobie Cat, windsurfs, kayaks and paddle boards and offers private tuition. Guests can charter their own motorboat to explore the surrounding coastline, Ammouliani Island, picnic at some wonderful beaches, or even hire a skippered yacht. Eagles dive centre offers PADI courses and trips out into the waters surrounding Halkidiki, which are teeming with aquatic life.
The accommodation at Eagles Villas is luxurious, yet understated. Blue, nautically themed Villas combine with wicker and raffia, which perfectly complement the wooden terracing and private plunge pools. Stunning sea views abound and distance views of Ammouliani provide the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind in privacy. There is a choice of junior, one or two bedroom villas with breath-taking views, outside terraces and some with the added benefit of an additional garden.
The restaurants and bars offer a mix of Greek and international food, from buffet style to a la carte. Fresh, local food is the order of the day, and the service is warm, friendly and very personal. The hotel's spa has an exceptional reputation and you'll find a comprehensive choice of holistic treatments and therapies.

At the end of the week, there’s a Regatta, which your children can take part in some short and fun races, and maybe win some prizes at the end.

Eleni & everyone at the explorers kids club and aqua explorers were great. The beach is amazing. The villas too. My 10 yr old loved the ringo!

From the moment I arrived at Eagles Villas and with the warm and welcoming greeting we received I realised the pictures do not do justice to the views and my expectations of the stunning villas were exceeded. Someone had previously said to me last year that the new villas raised the game at Eagles resort and they werent wrong! The villa accommodation is luxurious, beautifully decorated, and the beds were beyond comfortable, the bath huge and having your own outside terrace with sunbeds, dining furniture and perfect little plunge pools overlooking the resort out to the sparkling azure sea it really felt heavenly and peaceful! All topped off and surrounded with luscious lavender, heathers and accompanying butterflies blending into the hillside. I can now understand why guests want to return again and again I cant wait to go back with my children too!
I know it has been a phrase well used, but it really is all about being on the water here so many watersports to try for the active and the not so active can just relax in the refreshing breeze up by their pools in the villas or down on the beautiful beach they even have separate areas to choose from - a family area as well as a quiet zone when you want to rest peacefully further away from any squeals of joy from little ones playing in the crystal clear waters. It is perfect for children of all ages with the gentle shallow waters for little ones to offering a great variety of watersports for the older children. And I cant recommend highly enough doing at least one boat trip during your stay whether it is one you power yourself or let someone else whizz you around the islands opposite the resort some inhabited only by sheep and goats.
For me this is a perfectly sized resort too without feeling too large and not really small boutique, it sits somewhere in the middle and feels traditionally Greek owned and run rather than feeling like an impersonal chain hotel. All the staff so friendly and accommodating to dietary requests, and having the new extra restaurants since the villas were added really helps for some variety in dining. Both the Spa at Eagles Villas and at the resort offer havens of relaxation and treatments and of course there is our Explorers Kids Club to look after your children and keep them well entertained if you want some time to yourself for a spa escape, peaceful lunch, a game of tennis or perhaps go wild with the watersports! This resort really does have all the ingredients for a fabulous family holiday!

Fantastic holiday - in terms if customer service this is the best place I have ever been
Thorpe Family - August 2018 (Guest)
Eagles Villas was an amazing place. Although large with plenty of choice in terms of restaurants and facilities, it still manages to feel exclusive with all staff aware of your needs and so happy to help. The food was fantastic, from the amazing beachside location of the Greek taverna, to the most delicious Italian restaurant. It was also good to explore the local village one evening. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and spacious with unrivalled views. We all had an amazing week and the children didn't want to leave! And the aqua kids club was superb. Cant recommend that highly enough.

Eagles Villas is the ideal destination for families and couples alike who enjoy the privacy and space villa style accommodation has to offer with the benefits of having extensive resort facilities to hand. Eagles Villas guests also enjoy the added luxury of their own heated plunge pool and spacious terrace or garden, exclusive dining and spa pool facilities, stunning uninterrupted views out to sea, and brand new fresh and contemporary accommodation. The owners have put a lot of thought and care into the design of the villas, sourcing high-end furnishings globally so that their guests feel like they are in a home away from home, with the buildings purposefully designed to optimise privacy.
A number of guests choose to spend the majority of their time in their villa making the most of their wonderful accommodation, but for those who prefer being on the beach to beside a pool then Eagles Resort is perfect. The beach is long and sandy with a gentle incline into the most still, clear azure sea, with well-spaced sun loungers and an array of water sports to choose from should you wish, from paddle boarding and water skiing, to hiring your own boat for a day to explore some of the stunning islands that face the resort. Guests are also spoilt for choice with dining options, from adults-only Kamares offering gourmet cuisine and spectacular views of sunset, to Armyra on the beach for delicious local seafood and Greek delicacies, to newly opened steak and Greek fusion restaurants to name a few.

The much anticipated Eagles Villas have finally opened and they have exceeded my expectations, with beautiful luxury accommodation onsite of this well established family run Greek resort. There are three different villa options available all with incredible views over the Aegean Sea and surrounding islands.
As part of Eagles Villas there are two new restaurants and a lovely spa, gym and outside infinity pool. These can be easily walked to form the villas or there are 24 hour club cars that can pick you up whenever you please.
The rest of the resort is unchanged and still offers all the amenities needed for a lovely summer beach holiday for all the family.
The water and sandy beach are definitely the main attraction to this beautiful resort; the best way to enjoy this is to hire a boat and go explore the local islands and their hidden beaches. Boats can be hired right from the beach and no license is required for certain boat types. The hotel can also arrange picnics for you to take onboard so you can spend a full day away whilst still enjoying the tastes of the local area.
Eagles Resort offers an amazing place to enjoy a family holiday whilst enjoying beautiful weather, beaches, local food and children activities. The new villas really give families the option of having private, luxury accommodation whist having all the onsite amanitas that you will need.
