Explore one of the Yucatan's less known Maya sites by bicycle, and climb the 120 steps to the top of the Nohoch Mul pyramid temple. Accompanied by a historian guide you will learn about the ruins and natural wonders which can be found at the site.
Coba was founded around 100 B.C., and was once a teeming city with 20,000 structures and a population of about 50,000 people. It was a connection point with 45 roads to other Mayan towns and cities. Among its constructions is the highest pyramid in the Yucatan peninsula (42 m/126 feet), and the site extends for 80 sq km. After being transferred to the site you will pick up your bikes at the entrance to explore at a leisurely pace.
