It was my holidays with my mum growing up that drove my passion for travel. Even through I grew up in Asia it is still one of my favourite continents to visit. The landscapes are vast and unique, whilst the people are some of the friendliest I have ever met.

Far East Asia as a destination has so much to offer. I've been lucky enough to travel to many countries in Asia, learning from each as I go. I love the mysterious and beautiful landscapes, fascinating history, unique cultures and change of seasons which give you a different experience every time.

Travel nuggets

  • Most of Thai food are quite spicy, order some sweet and plain drinks such as coconut water which will help with the tongue tingle.

  • Keep a large scarf or sarong in your bag when travelling in Southeast Asia. It can be useful when you need to enter temples where they have some restrictions on clothing.

  • Bargaining at markets is commonly seen in Southeast Asia. Definitely give it a go, it can be a lot of fun trying to bag a bargain.
