  1. Days 1-4: Sydney

    Sydney is a vibrant multi-cultural city that hugs the shores of a very beautiful harbour, and its cosmopolitan population has made it a melting pot of diverse restaurants and world class cuisine. From the world-renowned fine dining establishments of Tetsuyas, Aria and Neil Perry's Rockpool to the unsung delights of fish and chips on the beach at Watsons Bay or breakfast at Bills, Sydney's multitude of eateries will keep your inner gourmet satisfied for your first few nights.

  2. Days 4-7: Blue Mountains National Park

    Your next stop is one of Australia’s most visited National Parks – the Blue Mountains. Only a 90-minute drive from Sydney, the Blue Mountains offer visitors dramatic vistas, dense forest, thundering waterfalls and a plethora of endemic wildlife. With time at leisure here, opt to enjoy one of the many walking trails within the national park or join a guided tour visiting the lesser visited viewing points. The region is also home to several quaint artistic villages, the perfect place to enjoy a glass of New South Wales’ finest wines after a day exploring the national park.

  3. Days 7-9: Melbourne

    Drive yourself back to Sydney to fly on to Melbourne, Victoria’s capital and the number one destination for coffee in the world.  Explore the boutique lanes that criss-cross throughout the city, sampling food from low-key markets and pop up food stalls to dining at some of Australia’s best high-end eateries. Head south of Melbourne to explore the picturesque Mornington Peninsula region, where a plethora of locally produced gourmet food, cheeses, chocolate and wine is produced.

  4. Days 9-11: Daylesford

    Following the vibrant restaurant scene in Melbourne, drive into Victoria's lush interior to Daylesford, for a stay at the Lake House. Drawing foodies from all over the world, The Lake House is renowned for its exceptional cuisine and first-class dining.  Priding themselves on sourcing local produce, you will often see the crew of 20 chefs in the orchard or herb garden collecting delicate edible flowers of herbs to finish off the daily menus. Work up an appetite with a walk through the Wombat State Forest or a swim in the picturesque lake, enjoy a visit to the farmers markets or simply relax in the hotels beautiful Salus Spa.

  5. Days 11-14: Margaret River

    For the final stop on your journey, fly from Melbourne across to Perth to spend 4 nights amidst the stunning scenery of the Margaret River. Responsible for producing almost 15% of Australia’s wines, of which a significant number are premium labels, the Margaret River region is one of the most beautiful wine regions in Australia, with a patch-work scenery of emerald-green pastures and neat rows of vines. Boutique breweries, dairy products, jams and condiment producers, a marron (freshwater crayfish) farm, olive groves and even chocolate and fudge factories add to the gourmet experience. The local towns are also scenic and have a good collection of local craft and art galleries as well as antique and bric-a-brac shops that are fun to browse.
