Zion National Park
In a state famed for its flamboyant geological formations and staggering landscapes, Zion National Park is perhaps the most dramatic, with its two-toned cliffs, cragged canyons and soaring peaks. Hidden amongst this vast, grandiose terrain lie lush hanging gardens, delicate wildflower meadows and riverine forests, criss-crossed with miles of scenic walking trails.
Whatever time of day you visit the park will be alive with color, from the verdant pine forests to the rusty red sandstone monoliths and the sparkling blue of the rivers. An ever-changing landscape, this is one to uncover up close, whether scaling the rock face, hiking through rivers, or horse riding across deserted canyons.
