A unique Mexican architectural concept, La Casa Que Canta is 25 all-suite boutique hotel perched on a cliff overlooking La Ropa Beach on Mexico's attractive Pacific Coast in Zihuatanejo and within easy reach of excellent restaurants.
The striking moulded-adobe architecture of La Casa Que Canta typifies the rustic-chic Mexican Pacific style, and is an ideal and peaceful romantic retreat. Individually decorated rooms named after Mexican songs have handsome natural-tile floors, unusual painted Michoacan furniture, antiques, and stretched-leather equipale-style chairs and tables with hand-loomed fabrics throughout.
Each exquisite room has a large furnished terrace with bay views. Most of the spacious units are suites, and 11 of them have private pools. The suites include a sitting area, bedroom and private terrace with hammocks. All have wonderful views of the bay and the Sierra Madre Mountains act as a beautiful backdrop. Rooms meander up and down the hillside, and while no staircase is terribly long, there is only one lift.
A well-being centre offers massage, spa services, and yoga. The resort has two elegant swimming pools, a fresh water infinity pool and a free-form salt water pool, as well as a cascading waterfall. The Casa is a short but steep walk from town, while there is also access to Playa La Ropa, making the resort a great location to explore the local town and to relax on the beach.
This elegant hotel offers luxurious stylishly decorated suites that are comfortable, spacious and all equipped with modern amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. The suites include a sitting area, bedroom and private terrace with hammocks. All have wonderful views of the bay and the Sierra Madre Mountains act as a beautiful backdrop.
La Casa Que Canta has an outdoor swimming pool and a saltwater pool with beach club. Their Clarins Spa offers health and beauty treatments as well as yoga instruction, and there is a small fitness centre too.

La Casa Que Canta (The House That Sings) is crawling with lovebirds. There's good reason: The 25 cliffside suites have views of Zihuatanejo Bay and balconies that are perfect for sunset-watching, private plunge pools, and patios with white hammocks and cushioned loungers that invite snuggling. Each suite also has a pink marble bathroom, a complimentary minibar, and lots of folky-chic Mexican art. Pathways lead down the rocky cliff-side to an infinity pool, saltwater pool, spa, and gym—as well as to Playa la Ropa. Here sit two separate, superposh beachside villas, El Murmullo and El Ensueño, which come with private butlers, concierges, and chambermaids (Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, and Karl Lagerfeld have been among the occupants). In order to keep the general honeymoon-ness of the place intact, no children under 16 are allowed.
