Venice is a city that can be enjoyed at all times of the year, although summer tends to be a busy time to visit. Spring and autumn are the best seasons to travel to Venice, as the city is less crowded and the temperatures are pleasant.

The warmest months of the year in Croatia are July and August, during which time the daytime high temperatures will hover around the low 30°C's. The coldest months of the year on average are January and February, during which time the daytime highs will be around 12°C. The rainiest months of the year are generally November and December, with the summer months being fairly dry.

  2. Days 1-4: Venice

    Begin your journey in Venice, Italy’s spectacular floating city. Built across a series of canals, this spectacular city is packed with history, culture and magnificent architecture. Enjoy getting lost in Venice’s winding streets and admiring iconic sights such as the elegant Rialto Bridge spanning the Grand Canal.

    Join a private guide to learn the history of St Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace, before heading into Venice’s backstreets to discover some of the city’s hidden gems. End your visit with a gondola ride through the canals and enjoy seeing the city from a new perspective, in real Venetian style.
