Itinerary

Get the best of both worlds on your summer vacation, with a week in a fully staffed Scott Dunn villa and a few days in a family friendly hotel. With its beaches, mountains, historic towns and villages and incredible cuisine, Mallorca has something for everyone

  1. Days 1-4: Mallorca

Starting with a stay in the stunning Jumeirah Port Soller, this cliff top resort hotel overlooks the quaint Port Soller to one side and the Tramuntana mountain range to the other. Equipped with everything you need for a family hotel stay, there are some great restaurants, stunning pools and also a well renowned children's club, offering a varied program of activities for children aged four and over. There is plenty to explore in Soller too, if you feel the urge to leave the pool.

The spectacular scenery throughout the island makes it perfect for exploring and is ideal for those who love outdoor pursuits. Mountain biking and walking in the Tramuntana Mountains and various protected parks are very popular, and the island is a major destination for road cycling. Professional teams come to train here, and there are plenty of routes to choose from. Golfers benefit from the warm and dry climate, and there are around 20 courses on the island. For those who prefer to be near the water, the coast offers a huge variety of water sports from sailing to snorkeling and from kayaking to paddle boarding. Boats can be chartered from many marinas, and equipment for other sports can be easily rented at various locations.

Accommodation: Jumeirah Port de Soller (3 nights)

  2. Days 4-11: Mallorca

From here, head off to your Scott Dunn Villa for a week (or two!).  Our luxury villa selection is all based in the north and north-east of Mallorca, in and around the historic town of Pollenca and Arta. They vary in size (sleeping from four to 12), allowing you the flexibility for a larger party of family and friends to join you.  Here you can while away the week, with your own Scott Dunn chef, villa manager and nanny making sure you all have the perfect stay. All villas come with private pools, gardens, play rooms and unique extras to make this truly a luxury experience, with plenty to keep even the busiest of children happy.

No visit to Mallorca would be complete without a visit to one of the many markets, Pollenca offering one of the most diverse. Each Sunday and on saints day, the city center and main square transform into a thriving hub for local farmers, craft suppliers and local businesses selling their wares. Be sure to stock up on souvenirs and some local delicacies before you fly home.

This itinerary is simply a starting point for inspiration and will work with any of our villas in Mallorca or hotels along your chosen route. We can tailor the journey to suit your timings and preferences.

    Accommodation: Villa Llenaire (7 nights)
