The Palacio Duhau is perfectly located on Buenos Aires' most exclusive street, Avenida Alvear, in the heart of the French heritage district of Recoleta. The Palacio Duhau is within easy reach of superb restaurants and the city's main attractions. Then next stop Eolo, which is 30-minutes from El Calafate, en route to Perito Moreno Glacier and strategically located in the La Anita valley, on the eastern side of Mount Frías. Explora Patagonia Hotel Salto Chico is located right at the heart of the extraordinary Torres del Paine National Park in central Patagonia. The varied and untouched landscapes of this area led UNESCO to declare it a biosphere reserve. Located 113 kilometers to the north of Puerto Natales, between the Andes and the plateau. Your final stay is at Vina Vik, an exclusive retreat set amongst the vineyards of Chile's Central Valley, a 3-hour drive from Santiago airport.

When to go

Summer in Argentina is from December to March and winter is from June until September. Buenos Aires is a year round destination although October through to April is considered the best time to visit as temperatures are warmer. January is the hottest month with an average temperature of 25°C (76°F) and the coldest is July at 12°C (53°F).

Southern Patagonia is best visited from November to March when temperatures are milder but visitors should be prepared for strong winds and changeable weather at any time. It is worth considering traveling outside this time, especially rewarding in April (for autumn colors) or October (for spring flowers) because winds can drop significantly and there are fewer visitors in the National Parks.

The Central Valley is a year-round destination but the most pleasant months to visit are October to April. Summer (November to April) is hot, and there is lots of sunshine. Over winter (June to September) you’ll see the Andes wreathed in snow but the weather is chilly and rain can be an issue. Spring-like September is Chile's national independence month, and is full of activity.
