Combine Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman and Six Senses Yao Noi in Thailand for two very different beach experiences staying in world-class beach resorts.
Use the direct 6-hour flight from Dubai to Phuket with Emirates for ultimate ease of travel.
Each villa comes with a private pool at both resorts, and both offer fantastic views out to sea
Superb levels of service and cuisine offer a wonderful consistency between the two Six Senses properties.
Tailor your itinerary to include stays in the desert or Dubai before going to Zighy Bay, or opt to venture further into Thailand or Indochina after a stay on Ko Yao Noi.
The best time to visit Oman is between November and mid-March, when the cooler air brings the mountain scenery sharply into focus and daytime temperatures average 25°C. For the rest of the year, much of Oman is oppressively hot and hazy, particularly between May and August.
Thailand has a tropical climate and the driest months to visit Ko Yao Noi are December to March. November and April are also good months to visit and you may get some rain, although it is outside of the monsoon season. May to October is the monsoon with downpours occurring once or twice a day, rather than constant rain
Combine two of Scott Dunn's favourite beach destinations; Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman and Six Senses Yao Noi in Thailand. With a direct flight with Emirates between the two, we think it makes for an ultimate twin-centre luxury holiday.
Your holiday begins at Zighy Bay, which is located in the Northern Peninsula of Oman about a 2-hour drive from Dubai. It is positioned in a totally secluded bay with the beautiful craggy mountains overlooking it and opening out onto the Arabian Sea in front of the resort. You can even opt to paraglide into the resort upon arrival! Each villa has a lovely decent size pool, and you can opt for a villa right on the beach or something more secluded. There are many dining options, and we love 'Sense on Edge' restaurant which is located on the mountain's edge with amazing views over the sea.
After five blissful nights, drive back to Dubai and hop on the 6-hour Emirates flight direct to Phuket. You arrive at around 9pm, and we will have a private car to take you to the jetty for your speedboat ride over to the island of Ko Yao Noi overlooking Phang Nga Bay. As you will arrive at night, you will have the amazing experience of waking up the next day and seeing the fantastic views for the first time. Look out over the amazing limestone pinnacles that dot the Phang Nga Bay and we promise you won't be disappointed! Use your five nights here to luxuriate at the spa, unwind on the beach or enjoy some water sports before it is time to head home.
