Best time to Visit

Good time to visit

Average time to visit

April to November is the ideal time to travel, as the rainy season in Peru runs from December to March. If traveling in June, then the midwinter solstice festival celebrated in Cuzco towards the end of the month is a spectacularly colorful occasion and well worth considering, but book well in advance to secure availability. Rio de Janeiro can be visited year-round. but April to November is quieter than the busy Christmas period.
