Itinerary

Perfect for a second time visit to Brazil or those who prefer to get a little off the beaten path, this week-long itinerary combines Rio de Janeiro with the kitesurfing mecca of Jericoacoara in the northeast, where sand dunes roll into the ocean, isolating this charming and laidback town. Stay in two boutique properties with fantastic locations, just outside the main hubs.

  1. Fly to Rio de Janeiro

  2. Days 1-4: Rio de Janeiro

Begin your holiday in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro, which has plenty to offer all ages. Stay for three nights in the bohemian neighbourhood of Santa Teresa away from the hustle and bustle of Copacabana Beach and explore its quirky boutiques and chilled out nightlife. Jericoacoara is popular amongst kite and windsurfers due to its near perfect conditions from July to November but despite this still retains much of its charm. there are no paved roads and no streetlights still, giving "Jeri" a sleepy vibe. Stay just a short walk from the main square at the beautiful Chili Beach Hotel, which has plenty of lounge space and a selection of chic bungalows. Explore the area by dune buggy with a private guide and try your hand at windsurfing (or hone your skills).

    Accommodation: Chili Beach (4 nights)
