Itinerary

Intoxicating culture, exotic cities, tapas and tagines await on this luxury adventure through Southern Spain and Morocco. Discover the rich intertwined history of Seville, Cordoba and Granada and the enticing colors of Marrakech's medina.

  1. Fly to Seville

  2. Days 1-4: Seville

The Andalucian city of Seville is vibrant and charismatic, the very heart of the south with glimpses of Moorish influence woven through pretty cobbled streets. Sun-drenched and laid back, you’ll find plenty of colorful plazas, tasty tapas spots and beautifully intricate architecture. This is a city of contrast; whitewashed houses meet Moorish palaces, contemporary art and stand-out food blend into the historic old town and its festivals are simply world-class.

Explore the royal palaces and gardens of the Alcazar with your private guide, taking in its incredible Mudejar architecture, before visiting impressive sights such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria, one of the largest in the world.

Accommodation: Hotel Alfonso XIII (3 nights)

  3. Days 4-6: Cordoba

Continuing on through Andalucia, your next stop is Cordoba, Spain’s 10th-century capital and once the largest city in western Europe. Cordoba is, in itself, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, best known for incredible Roman ruins and its truly impressive Mezquita (Mosque). This charming city is home to the truly exquisite Alhambra Palace, enchanting in its Moorish detail yet grand and imposing in its structure. This amazing complex of palaces, forts and gardens really is a treasure to explore and your private guide will walk you through the history and tales of centuries past. Granada is steeped in medieval history and its narrow streets are a delight to wander and absorb the unique blend of cultures that still exist today.

  5. Days 8-11: Marrakech

A short distance to the south lies mystical Marrakech, a stark contrast yet strikingly similar to its Andalucian counterparts. Colorful and energetic, the city is alive with sounds, smells and sights reminiscent of yesteryear, and its distinctive charm is infectious from the moment you arrive.

The bustling main square and souks of Marrakech are brimming with snake charmers, street food, storytellers and a labyrinth of market stalls to keep even the keenest shoppers busy.
