Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon is a great base from which to explore the city of Lisbon. Its unique location atop one of Lisbon's seven hills means views are stunning over the city, the nearby Eduardo VII Park and Tagus River.
Inside you will find well appointed rooms, all with private balconies and views over the city. Rooms offer comfort and style and are spacious from entry level. Interiors blend 18th century replica furnishings whilst contemporary and modern art adorns the walls. Facilities do not disappoint; guests are welcome to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy peace in the award wining, full service spa and large indoor pool and fitness center with its 400 meter open air running track, situated on the roof top of the building.
The hotel's main restaurant Veranda is overseen by French Chef Pascal Meynard; his experience in Michelin-starred restaurants means the standard here is high, the restaurant boasts stunning views over Eduardo VII Park and in the summer months guests can dine on the large outdoor terrace. Those looking for something more casual can dine in the Ritz bar, ideal for a light bite or sushi which is prepared every Wednesday through to Friday. The Lobby lounge serves afternoon tea daily.
This hotel works well for families traveling with smaller children as they offer interconnecting rooms, babysitting and on site activities can be arranged in advance for younger guests.
The hotel has 282 rooms - these are spread across 11 categories, three room levels include Classic, Superior and Deluxe. There are eight levels of suites all offering large outdoor balconies and views over the city.
The hotel is family friendly, offering a good number of interconnecting room options. With 24 hours notice the hotel can arrange babysitting and activities tailored children of all ages. Upon request rooms can be childproofed and the hotel offers complimentary diapers, bottle warmers and strollers.
The hotel offers a selection of restaurants, including the fine dining Veranda Restaurant overseen by the French Chef Pascal Meynard and the Ritz Bar which offers lighter meals. O Japones is open on select days throughout the week and serves up a fantastic offering of sashimi and sushi.
There is also an award winning spa offering an extensive menu of treatments; facilities include an 18meter indoor pool with an outdoor one soon to be constructed. On the top floor of the hotel with stunning city views is the 700 sqm fitness center which is well equipped with treadmills, bicycles and elliptical machines. Pilates and Yoga are also available and outside is a 400 meter running track.

How to get there
Lisbon can be reached by direct flights with BA, TAP and Easyjet from London, the flight time is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. Once in Lisbon the hotel is a just a short 20-minute private transfer from the airport.
