Situated in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, Hotel La Perla is a wonderfully authentic hotel in the charming village of Corvara. It offers a spa with an indoor pool and a wealth of activities and breathtaking views on its doorstep.
A family run hotel, it follows the traditional Ladin culture of hospitality, welcoming guests into their 52 rooms which have been designed in three different styles to reflect the character of South Tyrol. The design of the hotel gives a nod of respect to the history of the area and Ladin culture, this is evident in the reclaimed wood that is used throughout much of the hotel and the thoughtful touches in rooms such as old hats, walking sticks, latches, locks and teapots that are on show.
The hotel offers a fabulous spa area with swimming pool and facilities such as saunas, Turkish baths, Kneipp and hydro massage as well as treatments from the spa professionals.
There is an abundance of dining options at Hotel La Perla and it prides itself on using local, seasonal, quality produce which is organic where possible. The Michelin starred restaurant, La Stua de Michil, is under the charge of Nicola Laera and offers fine dining along with wines from the vast wine cellar. Other dining options includes Les Stues restaurant, a bistro, an alpine in and the more relaxed affair of a tavern.
Throughout summer Corvara offers guests relaxing or adventurous walks, cycling excursions and exhilarating climbs up majestic peaks. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Dolomites offers a host of activities along with spectacular views where visitors can't wait to explore either on foot or on wheels.
La Perla is a small hotel with just 52 rooms with the most spacious being the Romantic rooms. All rooms are thoughtfully furnished and adorned with precious pieces and collections, as well as antique local furniture, giving them a homely, traditional feel.
There are 10 Comfort rooms in total which measure around 30m² and are all Tyrolean in style with a balcony. These rooms feature corner areas with sofas, armchairs and writing tables.
These are spacious and more contemporary in style, some have balconies. 40-45m². Some have four poster beds, others have a connecting door thorough to a second bedroom - ideal for families. The larger suites can accommodate two children on a sofa bed but there is not necessarily a door to separate the sleeping areas.

Whilst there are no dedicated facilities for children at the hotel, La Perla welcomes families.
For gourmet dining at La Perla, head to the Michelin starred La Stua de Michil run by the head executive chef Nicola Laera who previously served under the star chef Norbert Niederkofler. The hotel offers a number of choices when it comes to dining, all with the influence of traditional Ladin culture and the use of fresh, local produce. Dining options range from the Michelin starred restaurant to traditional, homely cuisine.
The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and the Spa and Wellness area features facilities such as saunas, Turkish baths, hydro massage, Kneipp as well as beauty therapists for treatments and massages.

The cuisine at the Bistro is typically Italian with delicious pasta, rice and soups with influences from both the local area and the Mediterranean.
L'Murin is an informal tavern, serving a simple menu of local dishes. In the afternoons, the atmosphere transforms from quiet into a bar with live music.

Gourmet restaurant with 1 Michelin star - headed up by Chef Nicola Laera who creates impressive dishes.
A simple alpine inn, the Ladinia serves up a staple mountain menu offering great value and is located right opposite Hotel La Perla.
A very homely, collection of Stube - wooden rooms - each a different colour. Serves local and organic South Tyrolean produce. Open daily from 7pm until 9.30pm.

The much loved wine cellar has thirty thousand bottles and three thousand labels originating from Italy, Switzerland, Austria and France. 50% of the wine is from South Tyrol.
Going to the Dolomites for summer is an active holiday, you can't help but want to explore outside. This can be by foot or by wheels with easy access from Hotel La Perla to hiking or biking trails.
For mountain biking, the adventurous can tackle the Sella Ronda cycle route or climb to the nearby Gardena and Campolongo passes, alternatively there are flatter routes suitable for families.
A hiking paradise, there a numerous hikes of varying levels depending on what you want to achieve. Alternatively guests can play golf or go horse riding, both with spectacular views.
The Moviment Parks in the Alta Badia region are easy to get to and ideal for families with a host of activities or there are fitness areas for adults.
