The hidden gem of Sardinia. Poltu Quatu is a secret hotel situated in its own private port. It is like a small Sardinian village with landscaped gardens, trees and colorful flowers everywhere you look. It is understated and authentic, oozing all things Italian.
Walking out of the hotel to the sea there a number of little shops and restaurants. The harbor can fit 300 boats so there are super yachts as far as the eye can see. The views are spectacular of the mountainous landscape, turquoise waters and the islands In the distance. Spend your days renting a boat to explore the different islands of Caprera, which only takes 10 minutes, then onto la maddalena. Or use the hotel's free shuttle to the beautiful beaches with gorgeous white sand where they have their own private section with sun loungers and towels. There is even a dive center within the harbor along with a sailing school for adults and children.
There are 146 hotel rooms with great interconnecting options for families along with 67 apartments. This property is the perfect place to stay whilst exploring this stunning destination. It's glitz, it's glam, its authentic, it's rustic, it really does have something for everyone.

Poltu Quatu is a peaceful, village-style hotel resort, set in one of many bays in the Costa Smeralda. The setting is stunning and the focus is on the harbor, which is the central part of the resort. Guests can very easily rent a boat (no licence required for rib boats) or you can have a skippered boat. The coastline is beautiful and the islands opposite are an easy ride away (Caprera is only 10 minutes away), this is a must during your stay!
Although there are no beaches at Poltu Quatu, there is a complimentary shuttle to two local beaches, Bagaliono (less than 5 minutes) and Grand Pedro (5-10 minutes), where there are complimentary sun loungers for Poltu Quatu guests.
The dining options of the resort are excellent; Bahia is the breakfast and half board restaurant which serves the most wonderful pastries and cakes! The half board menu for dinner is very good value and offers a selection of 3 courses from a set menu which changes daily. Tanit is their fine dining, adult only restaurant for something more special, with lovely outdoor tables overlooking the marina. Furthermore there are around 3-5 restaurants around the marina you can choose from too.
I love the marina atmosphere of the resort, guests can easily wander down to the restaurants and shops or ice-cream parlour, there's even a Mozzarella bar here! The resort has a laid back feel which welcomes families and couples alike. It's an excellent choice for those looking to experience an Italian hotel, charming service and a marina atmosphere.
