The climate in Greece is warm and sunny for the majority of the year with the risk of the odd shower of rain and some cooler periods over the winter. From April/May onwards the weather settles but it can sometimes be cool in the evenings. By mid/end of May, the weather generally settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August when it can be very hot. Rain is unlikely but it can happen from time to time. May to October are particularly pleasurable months.

There are extensive practice facilities including a well-appointed full-size driving range, putting green and short-game practice area. The Navarino Golf Academy has a team of professionals available for private lessons and individual coaching lessons for both beginners and the more advanced. And instead of taking your own clubs, you can hire them at the Academy.
Just a few minutes from Navarino Dunes, at the Navarino Bay development, the Bay Course offers an alternative set of challenges and choices in a quite different setting. Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. The par 71 course places a greater emphasis on strategic play and positional golf than The Dunes Course. The Seaside, Canyon, and Grove holes will provide striking contrasts that create a dramatic and memorable golf round.

My Daughter was in the Crew Club, she had an amazing times, in fact every time she came back from an activity she said it was "the best day ever". Andy, Hotel Relationship Manager, was exceptional, he checked on the Westin families to see if all was well or if any issues needed to be sorted .
Singer Family - June 2018 (Guest)
The Kids Club is not only excellent but over delivers in service, care and attention. It acts as a community for the children and they love meeting new friends and the staff there.

kind. Thank you so much.

Families will absolutely love The Westin at Costa Navarino there is just so much to do and when the children are happy, the parents get to enjoy their vacation too! There really is something for everyone whatever the age; whether you want to hike, bike, do watersports, play in the Aqua Park, have a round of golf or tennis, or just relax at the various pools, beach and amazing spa! The accommodation is affordable luxury; you have everything you need in the resort. Whilst they dont have many connecting hotel rooms, they do have lots of spacious family suites which can then connect to a room should you want even more space.
Sarah O'Donnell (Staff)
The Westin resort has something for all ages with an abundance of facilities at your fingertips, offering a fine balance between luxury and family with a varied selection of homely accommodation types. The architecture of the Westin honours its surroundings offering sensational views of the award winning golf course, lapping ocean waters and landscaped gardens from every angle.
The elevated light wooden platforms and bridges intertwine with the surrounding stone pathways and the resort is broken up by scattered areas of greenery, creating a sense of privacy. The resort has a relaxed atmosphere and you can enjoy birds chirping away in the background as you enjoy breakfast.
With an array of restaurants offering everything from Japanese to authentic Greek dishes, every meal is different. The Westin buffet offers a child friendly buffet complete with potato smiley faces and a mouth-watering chocolate fountain at dinner time. The half board dine around program is an excellent option for sampling the variety of restaurants on offer.
Grab a bike and go on a family adventure around Costa Navarinos diverse terrain or discover the surrounding beaches, mesmerising lagoons and tranquil waterfalls.
Take a leisurely stroll into the neighboring Agora, a traditional Greek meeting place for a coffee or ice-cream. Watch the Agora come alive at night as you enjoy dinner or enjoy the live music on a Saturday night.
If you simply need some time to rest and recover you can head to the resorts sandy beach, only a short walk away. For the ultimate pampering session, visit the award winning Anazoe spa offering an extensive range of therapeutic treatments derived from Ancient Greece.
Try out the leisure center in The Westin for complementary fitness sessions from aqua aerobics to yoga on the beach. If no one else turns up you will enjoy your own private lesson!
The Westin child facilities are incredible with a brand new Scott Dunn kids club and Crew activities for teenagers, offering scuba diving, beach activities and even golf lessons.
Children of all ages will be spoiled for choice. Kids will love the 1960s American diner overlooking the aqua park, a cinema offering free films, a bowling alley, squash court & climbing wall!
Although this is a big resort the range of facilities and varied excursions are truly worth it.

If you're looking for an action packed week, the Westin is a brilliant choice. There is so much to do here, including golf, tennis, water sports, a climbing wall, bowling and even an Aqua Park. Whatever your interests and hobbies are, there really is something for everyone.
For those feeling a little less active, the choice of pools, sandy beach and spa should keep you occupied! Even the entry level rooms at the Westin provide plenty of space, and if you can get a room with a sea view its definitely an added bonus.
The breakfast buffet at Morias is definitely a good way to start the day; I've never seen such a spread before! There's plenty of choice for lunch and dinner too, meaning you could go the whole week without having to dine in the same place twice.
The Scott Dunn Explorers Club is a new addition to Costa Navarino for 2016. I was so impressed with the indoor and outdoor space, which holds everything from toddler sized facilities up to a cool chill-out area for the older children. There's also a little splash pool sandwiched between the two parts of the kids club, which is great way to cool down in the hot sun.

On arrival at the The Westin, we were greeted with a sea of friendly faces, iced lemon tea and helpful staff. Beautifully designed inside, the reception sets the tone, inside and out. It's an attractive resort with a mix of brick and painted stone throughout. There are quite a few steps to get down to the pool and the Agora, but there are plenty of lifts and the staff are only to happy to assist with golf buggies if it's too much. I really liked the hub of the resort, the Agora. It has a good choice of bars and restaurants and conveniently located between the Westin and the Romanos Hotels.
Rooms are laid out on an arc from the reception area, that initially look like individual blocks but they connect through a serious of walkways, so there's no need to go up and down the stairs. My garden view Deluxe room overlooked the Morias half board restaurant, which being surrounded by water, was the perfect setting to enjoy the buffet breakfast. Come hungry, it's truly expansive, with a fantastic choice for everyone. There's a great selection of pastries, cheeses, fruit, smoothies and a cooked assortment, plus their own, locally produced honey, straight from the hive. Gluten freebies are better bringing their own dried goods though, as they only have white or brown packaged bread.
I loved the selection of pools, particularly the waterfall and swim up bar. Kids will love the small Aqua Park too, with fountains, water pulley and there's 3 slides, so adults can also have some fun.
Westin workout is a great space if you want to burn off some calories, with classes, swimming lessons, a daily active program or they can tailor something with individual instruction. For spa treatments, you need to head to the award winning spa, Amazoe, located at the end of the Agora. By far the best spa I have ever been too, its a huge space, with 3 Thalassotherapy pools, treatment rooms, and a serious of differing shower, haman and sauna experiences. Treatments use 3 different ranges, including Anne Semonin, but I would highly recommend using their own products, which utilize the olive oil made on the resort, its just bliss!
There are a great selections of restaurants, most of which can be found in the shared Agora square. Although my favorites was Flame, located near the Dunes golf course. Be sure to sit on the terrace and book for sunset, when the views are divine with your pre-dinner cocktail. The Italian restaurant Da Luigi, is also a must. Located in the Agora its a bit busier than some of the other, as its opposite the cinema screen but it has a great vibe, especially if you have children.

It's difficult to pin point the best aspect of Costa Navarino, but the combination of a stunning beach, an unbelievably impressive kids club, two of Greece's only eight golf courses and an array of sport choices makes this destination a winner for families. The beautifully designed resort comprises of two hotels which blend seamlessly together, the Agora Amphitheater and surrounding restaurants link the two.
The Sandcastle Kids club isn't your average hotel childcare, the team will keep children entertained for hours and hours with golf, tennis, crafts, swimming, treasure hunts and bowling to name a few of the activities on offer. The club has a tree house theme, carefully designed for young imaginations. Next door to the club is the children's pool, water slides and sandy playground.
The unspoiled sandy beach stretches for kilometers, it's a playground for those wishing to try their hand at water sports such as kite surfing and windsurfing. Runners and hikers can walk for miles along this coastline and have their own stretch of beach.
Nancy Tyrie (Staff)
This resort is jammed packed with activities and they're not offered half heartedly! Everything from an extensive range of bicycles to chose from with mapped out trails and organized excursions to kite surfing and windsurfing classes. This resort is great for those who like action and need to be kept occupied! On the other hand the long sandy beach is one of the best features of Costa Navarino and days could be lost snoozing to the sound on the Ionian Sea lapping up against the shore!
The kids club is truly epic. Constructed in the form of a giant sand castle and even having a water park next door you'll have a tough job getting your children to leave at the end of each day!
Anna Crowther (Staff)
Costa Navarino has something for everyone. Whether you want to laze around in your room with a private infinity pool or take part in one of the many activities water sports, tennis, golf, biking tours, cooking classes you'll have a lovely stay here.
Take a stroll to the Agora, the main hub of the resort, just a short walk from which ever part of the resort you're staying in. Dine outside the Italian restaurant in front of the outdoor cinema and be entertained by live music films.
Have a drink at the 1827 bar, named after the battle of Navarino in, guess which year? The 1827 wine is especially delicious, served with a shot glass full of olives.
The beach is fantastic with miles of golden sand. It is windy here, keeping you cool in the hot summer months, providing the perfect conditions for the wind or kite surfing.
Your children will be entertained for hours in their fantastic childrens club. They have brilliant facilities and it is located right next to the water park and adventure playground. Lay back and relax whilst they splash around and fly down the water slides.
