Scott Dunn pioneered skiing vacations with childcare, allowing parents the freedom to ski whilst their children are cared for impeccably by our nannies. Our handpicked childcare team are qualified professionals, whose enthusiasm and nurturing abilities are in abundance, so much so that both parents and children often ask to take them home. In Val d’Isère we have our exclusive Explorers kids club , which gives our hotel guests the freedom to ski all day, whilst your children have a vacation too. We look after children from as young as four months, with age appropriate activities and a collection service to and from ski school. A nutritious lunch is served each day, as well as healthy snacks, with any dietary requirements taken into account and your child’s routine will be strictly adhered to. We can also provide a wide range of equipment for babies and toddlers on request, including nappies and wipes, usually free of charge. And if you’d like to go out in the evening, we can provide babysitting.
|Explorers kids club||
Run by qualified nannies, our purpose built kids club in Val d’Isere is available exclusively to Scott Dunn guests and is open seven days a week. Each day promises an imaginative and entertaining program of both indoor and outdoor activities, so parents can spend the day on the slopes knowing your children are in expert hands. Snacks and lunches are freshly made each day and we also operate a driver service that can take your children to and from ski school.
Babysitting can be arranged in the evenings and is chargeable by the hour (€20 for the first hour, then €10 per hour until midnight, and €20 per hour thereafter).

The ski room offers quality equipment
Val d’Isère is a mecca for downhill skiing for good reason. It has enough to keep skiers of all standards challenged and entertained for a lifetime, let alone a week. The off piste potential is limitless and the snow record enviable.
Val d'Isère has plenty to offer less enthusiastic skiers too. The Center Aquasportif has fantastic facilities including 2 swimming pools, climbing wall, multi activity sports hall, fitness suite, gym, squash courts and a Wellness area with sauna, steam bath, spa, cold baths and hydro-massage.
Designated walking trails are a great way of appreciating the scenery and there is an ice rink, husky riding, parapenting, skidooing, cross country skiing and much more.
There is a wealth of quality restaurants in the village and on the mountain (many of which are accessible to non skiers). The shops and galleries offer some great shopping (both the window and the real varieties).
Location & Directions
Val d’Isère, France
Le Yule enjoys one of the best locations in Val d'Isère - at the foot of the Solaise lift and close to the ski school meeting point. Geneva 170km, Chambery 135km, Lyon 234km.
When to go
Val d'Isère boasts one of the longest ski seasons in the world because, unlike other resorts above 1800m, 80% of the skiing happens above 2000 meters. As a result, early and late season offer reliable great conditions. Being high, it is cold though and we think March and April are the best times to visit Val.
