The Alpaga is built in a traditional chalet style making it feel comfortingly luxurious. The high staff ratio means service is attentive and welcoming but discreet making it a haven to return to after a day outdoors.
Blending in seamlessly with its surroundings, the Alpaga has large balconies and terraces that overlook the village. An efficient courtesy driver service is on hand to take guests into the village and back. The concierge can organize anything guests would like to do, and has an extensive knowledge of the local area.
With 22 rooms, four suite apartments with one to three bedrooms, and five chalets, there's a good choice of accommodation. The suite apartments and chalets are ideal for families and larger groups as they can sleep up to 12 people, have their own kitchens and a private dining service can be arranged for guests staying in these.
The hotel's Michelin star restaurant, La Table de l'Alpaga, serves typical French cuisine with a gourmet twist and has an extensive wine list which is predominantly French. Breakfasts are very comprehensive, with lots of homemade produce to set you up for the day. The bar serves nibbles and "digestives" and opens onto a sunny terrace.
The Spa has a large swimming pool which has fountains and jets and is a relaxing place to go after your day outdoors, with treatments using La Colline products.
The Alpaga offers the comforts of a traditional chalet. The 22 rooms, four suite apartments and five chalets are furnished with cashmere throws and rugs and feature natural woods and stone they are decorated in a contemporary style with views of the surrounding mountains. Large French windows have incredible views over the mountains and pastures. All rooms have flat screen television, direct line telephone, WiFi, iPod dock and safe. The dark stone bathrooms have a basin set atop a stone cabinet, shower, bath and Hermès bath products.
Situated in a separate chalet, suite apartments have fitted kitchens, and all the facilities you'd expect from a five* hotel. Options are: one bedroom (sleeping up to four people), two bedroom (sleeping up to four people), and three bedroom (sleeping up to six people).
Classic rooms are spacious, comfortable and extremely welcoming.
The Deluxe rooms are luxurious and sumptuous.
The Prestige rooms are light, airy and exceptionally spacious. Two are split-level, and for larger groups or families, there are two connecting rooms.
The traditionally built chalets are very spacious and perfect for large families or groups of friends. They can cater for up to 12 people on three floors with six bedrooms and four bathrooms. Each chalet has modern living areas and have fully fitted kitchens and beautiful décor. The large balconies have incredible views of Megève and Mont Blanc.
Children are well catered for at the Alpaga and are most welcome. There are cots and extra beds provided free and the restaurant has a kids' menu for the younger ones. There is a kids' space for children aged between three and twelve which is equipped with various games and films. Babysitting can be arranged on request.
The Alpaga offers a Michelin star restaurant serving delicious French cuisine as well as the Lounge Restaurant l'Onyx or you can book a private chef if staying in one of the chalets. Comfortable living areas, a bar, and a beautiful Spa and wellness center.

This gourmet restaurant has been awarded 1 Michelin Star and provides delicious dishes from head chef Christophe Schuffenecker in elegant surroundings.
This bistro lounge is a great place to have lunch or for an informal dinner with cocktails.
|Spa La Colline||
In dark stone decor with a fitness studio, hammam, leisure pool with massage jets, a bubble couch and two treatment cabins. Also features an outdoor sauna which faces Mont Blanc.
There is plenty to explore in Megève and, using the ski lifts means you can take full advantage of the spectacular views and access hiking and mountain biking trails. With plenty of other activities in Megève you will never be bored, with everything from canyoning to climbing and horseriding, often best enjoyed with a guide.
Families and couples are well catered for here with something for everyone. The adventure park Cote 2000 is also worth a visit with circuits to complete in the tree tops.
There is also the sports center with plenty to do including a very well-equipped fitness center, a large indoor swimming pool, an outdoor Olympic size pool and paddling pool, and even a beach soccer pitch.
Location & Directions
Megève lies at the heart of the Mont Blanc mountain range; with a convenient location just an hour away from Geneva airport. The village is close to an efficient motorway network and a bus station. The railway station in Sallanches is 13km away.

Megève has a typically Alpine climate, with moderate temperatures in the summer months.
