The Hotel Mont Blanc lies in the heart of Chamonix combining an abundance of history and luxurious style, offering a haven of peace and tranquillity in the Alps. A spa by Clarins, outdoor pool with views of Mont Blanc and exceptional all-round service.
At over 100 years old the Hotel Mont Blanc has an interesting history with various politicians, artists and royal families visiting over the years as well as legendary mountaineering pioneers. Having been recently acquired by the Taittinger family it has been carefully renovated by interior designer Sybille de Margerie which has kept the architectural style but updated it with stylish contemporary touches.
Outdoor activities are in abundance in Chamonix with hiking, biking, horseriding and climbing just some of the activities you can enjoy and if you want to relax at the hotel for a while the outdoor swimming pool and relaxation area really come in to their own during the summer months. Taking a dip then laying in the warm sun whilst gazing up at Europe's highest peak is a truly unique experience in itself. Guests can enjoy a light meal or drinks at little tables dotted around the small but pretty garden, with umbrellas and trees offering shade from the summer sun.
Service is friendly and discreet and the Hotel Mont Blanc team continually ensure that guests are very well attended to. The atmosphere at the hotel is cosy and supremely comfortable which gives a real home-from-home feeling - perfect for a relaxing holiday in the heart of the Alps.
Accommodation
Rooms have King Size beds and most can be made up as a double or twin. Each room has a generously sized bathroom and the interconnecting rooms are ideal for families.
All rooms have flat-screen LED TVs, USB & HDMI connectivity, as well as complimentary WiFi, mini bar and Clarins products.

Childcare
Guests with children are very welcome, however there are no specific facilities designed for children within the hotel.
Teens will love being close to all the action in the town and with an ideal location right next to the Tourist Office, it's always easy to find your way back to the hotel.

Le Matafan restaurant at the Hotel Mont Blanc is headed up by Chef Mickey Bourdillat and produces some delicious regional specialities. The cuisine focuses on using locally sourced seasonal produce
The Lounge Bar is open for lunch and afternoon tea, serving a superb menu of cocktails and champagnes. It has a relaxing atmosphere with the inviting and supremely comfortable sofas and armchairs making it the perfect spot after a day in the mountains.

Activities
Chamonix offers a plethora of activities from adrenaline fuelled sports to the more sedate, this resort is a mecca for anyone looking for a more active holiday.
A haven for hiking there are 350km of hiking trails available with various levels of difficulty, and there are plenty of other activities on offer whether you want to be on the ground, mid-air or in the air. With something for everyone, from biking to climbing to paragliding, this is somewhere you are not going to be bored. Just make sure you take some time to relax and take in the spectacular views on offer too or visit one of the spas to relax and rejuvenate.
The town of 'Cham' as it’s affectionately known is both charming and cosmopolitan. The pedestrianised centre is characterised by its Victorian architecture - a reminder of when the British began to visit, today it is full of shops, galleries, restaurants and cafés, making it good to visit both day and night.
Chamonix has plenty of museums for those wanting to delve a little deeper into the fascinating history of the valley.
There is also a vast array of gastronomic delights from typical mountain restaurants serving Savoyard specialities to international cuisine to stylish Michelin starred restaurants.
