Méribel offers great skiing throughout the winter. The Méribel valley itself has both sunny south facing slopes, which are ideal on colder days, and higher more shaded skiing on Mont Vallon with snow-sure slopes. On one side, the North-facing slopes of Courchevel offer further great skiing and on the other, the Val Thorens valley has some of Europe's highest altitude skiing. Easy access to the entire Three Valleys makes it hard to beat from December through to late April.

A luxury boutique hotel in an enviable slope-side location close to the center of Méribel, L'Hélios has 18 stylish rooms and suites with excellent facilities including swimming pool, Carita Spa, private cinema, restaurant with sunny terrace and ski shop.
L'Hélios is a sophisticated boutique hotel in a superb location in Méribel. Stylishly decorated suites offer views of the valley and the ski in / ski out location makes this a great place to stay to make the most of the world's most extensive ski area, Les Trois Vallées.
Only 18 suites means that warm, personal service is guaranteed, yet the facilities are more befitting of a far larger hotel. The spa by Carita boasts an indoor pool with jet stream, steam bath and treatment rooms, while the private cinema's velvet seats are perfect for sinking into after a long day skiing.
Rooms are generously proportioned, starting at 31m2 ranging to over 100m2. The three floors are individually styled so you can choose from Nordic, Savoyard or Contemporary. Muted colors and slate bathrooms mean that all are stylish and supremely comfortable. All Rooms/Suites feature: flat screen TV, Blu-ray player, wifi, large beds and spacious slate bathrooms.
Families are welcome to come and stay and we recommend the Hélios for families with slightly older children. There is a children's menu, children's room service options and babysitting can also be arranged.
The restaurant specializes in re-invented French and Savoyard specialties and has been recommended in the Gault & Millau 2012 Guide. The Chef's imaginative and attractive dishes are well complemented by an excellent wine list.
Méribel offers a wide range of mountain activities in addition to alpine and cross country skiing, including walking on specially prepared trails, snowshoeing, outings on husky sleds and skidoos, paragliding, ice-skating and go-karting. Méribel also offers ten pin bowling, a casino and cinema, and also various guided visits, exhibitions and a museum.

This is a charming hotel and is right next to the Doron (blue) run so you can ski straight down to the boot locker.

L'Helios is an excellent small, friendly and luxurious hotel. The ambience is great and the staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and interesting. Location is excellent and the ski shop staff were superbly helpful.

L'Helios has all the style and chic of an alpine lodge but its got the added benefit of excellent service and friendly staff at your beck and call. The hotel is perched above Meribel with stunning views from the restaurant with floor to ceiling windows that allow stunning panoramic views to the outside. The ski in/ski out location is enviable with only a door between you and the slopes. After skiing you can enjoy the spa facilities with a steaming sauna to loosen the muscles before a dip in the circular pool.
Snowshoeing in Meribel
Experience the tranquillity of the snowy mountains as you trek through on snowshoes with a private guide, leaving behind all the hustle and bustle and lift queues on the pistes.
