Named after the rare, protected mountain goat/antelope, the Chamois lies adjacent to the "La Grange" piste giving guests ski in/out access. Chamois Lodge is the largest of the four beautiful chalets making up Le Portetta Mountain Lodges. It’s superbly located piste-side in the Belvedere area of Courchevel 1750.

The lodges are part of the excellent Le Portetta Hotel, which is located just down the mountain a little at Courchevel 1650.

Chamois is a contemporary, light, airy, traditional Swiss style chalet with majestic views of the French Alps. It is a great Lodge for entertaining with its large open plan, kitchen, dining and living area with its large open roaring, central log fire, which fills the space with warmth. Chamois combines intimate style and luxury and it’s full of character with huge picture windows and some quirky ‘rustic-chic’ finishing touches.

Sleeping 14 in seven en suite bedrooms, plus an additional mezzanine area (with twin beds), Chamois can also expand to include Petite Marmotte with further accommodation for two people. The Lodge has its own spacious sauna, shower and relaxation area, but if you feel like combining this with a treatment then the Portetta Hotel and Spa is only a 5 minute shuttle drive down the mountain.

Downstairs there is also an outdoor hot tub, which makes a perfect end to any long day on the mountain. Glass of wine in hand, snowflake on the nose...heaven.

Named after a local mountain goat-antelope the Chalet Chamois is a modern built chalet in the traditional Swiss style. With room to sleep up to 14 it is large but cosy with its rustic chic styling and homely decor. The chalet features many old wooden beams combined with large floor to ceiling windows giving the chalet a light and airy atmosphere. The living space and the dining area are divided by a large four-way fireplace. The living space has Sky TV and a PlayStation and there is a BOSE sound system throughout the chalet. There is also a spa on the ground floor complete with bar and sauna.

The master bedroom is the largest of all the bedrooms, with the others all smaller, but similar in size.

Courchevel is one of the world’s premier ski resorts with good reason. The skiing has breadth and depth that is unequalled. The extent of the Three Valleys combined with perfectly groomed runs, vertiginous off-piste couloirs, gentle runs at village level and much admired tree skiing mean Courchevel has lots for skiers of all standards.

Courchevel is part of the largest ski area in the world, with 600km of runs to enjoy. Guests staying in Courchevel 1650 are within easy reach of the two nearby valleys; Meribel and Val Thorens, and of course Courchevel 1850. Cross country ski runs through the trees are great fun for those wanting to push themselves that bit further. There is great off-piste skiing around Courchevel 1650 in addition to snowparks and easy beginner slopes.

Apart from skiing, the village has plenty to offer - from many famous eateries, to a flight from the famous altiport. The toboggan run to 1550 is another favorite, and snowshoeing and paragliding can also be enjoyed.
