Columbia Beach Resort has been designed with families in mind. It offers a great choice of family-friendly suites and is ideally situated in the pretty Pissouri Bay. The eastern side of the resort has been recently renovated, and the rooms and decor have a Mediterranean, nautical feel coupled with a more contemporary styling. The suites on the western side of the resort, retain a more traditional feel, with rustic wooden furniture, tilled floors and decorated with calming, neutral tones. The whole hotel has been built in the style of a traditional Cypriot village, creating a small but intimate resort. All rooms offer spacious living, en-suite bathrooms and some other luxury touches such as a Nespresso machine and Molton Brown toiletries.
Columbia Beach Resort has four restaurants open all year around, including the gourmet Italian restaurant Bacchus and the Greek Cypriot restaurant, Apollo Tavern. There is also Atruim, plus the alfresco Cape Aspro Restaurant and Pool Bar, which is open for lunch and dinner. There are two further restaurants around the pool and beach areas which operate seasonally. In total there are seven bars to choose from, most of them serve international beverages, specialty cocktails, light snacks and ice creams.
The resort offers some great facilities. The 80m lagoon-style swimming pool connects with an indoor pool and children’s pool, plus there is a large swimming pool towards the east side of resort which connects to the Cape Aspro Bar and equally, has it's own children's pool. There are four championship 18-hole golf courses nearby and two flood-lit tennis courts, plus the option to try archery, basketball, croquet, French Boules, sailing or cycling.
The hotel’s beach has a wide selection of water sports and Hebe, the spa offers Elemis treatments and therapies that allows guests to indulge in a massage or simply unwind in the Jacuzzi, sauna or steam bath.
All suites offer spacious living and en-suite bathrooms. Most bathrooms come with large soaking tubs and separate freestanding glass-walled showers. Junior suites boast marble bathrooms and all suites enjoy spectacular views of the garden area, lagoon style pool or the beautiful clear blue sea. All suites include: the option of an extra bed, air-conditioning, minibar, safe, balcony, bathtub, bathrobe, hair dryer, towel warmer, phone, TV, radio and internet.

From the balcony of your junior suite, you can enjoy either garden, side sea view or pool views. Top residential comfort awaits you in both the sleeping and living area of the open-plan rooms. The extensive bathroom features a King-size bath tub, separate shower cubicle, twin washbasins, bidet and large mirrors.
|Two Bedroom Family Suite||
Offering ideal space for one family. These 70m² family suites have both pool and sea views. Located on the east side of the resort, there is a main bedroom with either a queen or twin beds and another bedroom, separated by sliding doors, which has two single beds. Both rooms have their own en-suite facilities. The suites also feature tea and coffee making facilities, large balcony and a flat screen television.

The balcony of your junior suite sea view offers a truly spectacular view across the Mediterranean and the Bay of Pissouri. Your suite's open-plan rooms also ensure you experience a sense of Mediterranean life. The sleeping and living areas are furnished in stylish elegance and the large bathroom allows you to pamper yourself with the comfort offered by a king-size bath tub, separate shower cubicle, twin washbasins, bidet and large mirrors.

Executive suites with side sea/pool views are located in the main building of the resort and have a renovated, elegant open plan area which accommodates both the bedroom and an exclusively decorated sitting area, some of which are partially divided with wooden screens. A large en-suite bathroom with its king-size bath, separate shower cubicle, double basin, bidet and large mirror adds to the comfort of the suite.
|Executive Suite Sea View||
Executive sea view suites are located in the main building of the resort with views of the pool and Pissouri Bay. Located on the Executive floor, they offer an elegant open plan area, which accommodates both the bedroom and an exclusively decorated sitting area, some of which are partially divided with wooden screens. A large en-suite bathroom with its king-size bath, separate shower cubicle, double basin, bidet and large mirror adds to the comfort of the suite.
|Cape Suite Sea View||
Cape Suites are located in the main building of the resort on the East Side and have two balconies, giving the best sea, pool and inland views.
The suite is open-plan and the large seating area is separated from the a queen-sized bedroom by sliding doors . There is also a large en-suite bathroom with its king-size bath, separate shower cubicle, double basin, bidet and also a walk-in wardrobe 60m².
The hotel offers two options for children. Cub Life is for 4 months - 4 years and the Den is for children aged 4-12 years. Both clubs have an action-packed program of games and competitions, including the babyzone, jewelry making, arts and crafts plus a range of beach games. There is a separate children's pool and babysitting is available.
Children under 12 years of age eat complimentary lunch or dinner if guests are booked on half or full board.
|Cub Life||Open six days a week between April - October, Parents can choose between a morning session 10am - 1pm, afternoon session 3pm - 6pm or full day session. There is also the option to include lunch. There are charges for each session.|
|Babyease Service||The hotel offers to facility to pre-book additional items you may need for your baby whilst on vacation. This includes potties, sterilisers, walkers and much more. A full list of items can be provided once guests have booked.|
The Den is open throughout the Summer and at peak vacation times such as Easter and Christmas. Guests can choose between a morning or an afternoon session. The club is complimentary. There is also the option to book a supervised evening dinner and entertainment activity or for a lunchtime session. Both of these carry an additional charge.
Local Cypriot food and drink is a specialty at Columbia Beach Resort. There is an in-house bakery providing fresh warm treats, an a la carte gourmet restaurant and a nautically themed cocktail bar; the perfect place to unwind and admire the awe inspiring Cypriot sunset. Other facilities include an 80m lagoon style swimming pool, indoor pool, children’s pool, health club, gym, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, two tennis courts, hairdressing salon, boutique and a chapel.
There are four 18 hole championship golf courses in the immediate vicinity to Columbia Beach Resort, to which the hotel provides shuttles. There is a fantastic array of water sports on offer, choose from kitesurfing, windsurfing, waterskiing, paragliding, jetskiing, sailing and canoeing. In addition there are two squash courts, two floodlit tennis courts, a state of the art gym and yoga and aerobics classes to keep you in great shape.
The location of the hotel provides a fantastic opportunity to explore some of the hidden treasures of Cyprus. Whether that be a whole days excursion to the Milomeri Waterfalls and the Kykkos Monastery, taking a tour of the Akamas Peninsula and all it has to offer, including a visit to Paphos Harbor and the mosaics or just simply spending a day delving into the history of Limassol. When to go
The climate in Cyprus warm and sunny for the majority of the year with the risk of the odd shower of rain and some cooler periods over the winter. From March/April onwards the weather settles but it can sometimes be cool in the evenings. By May, the weather generally settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August when it can be very hot. Rain is unlikely but it can happen from time to time. May and October are particularly pleasurable months.
