Built within the walls of the ancient palace, Vestibul Palace incorporates some of the original Roman features in its architecture; the exposed walls and niches are standout features within the rooms. The old stone walls contrast with the modern furnishings, which are hand-crafted and comfortable, and the rooms are simply decorated in this contemporary style. Above all, the service is personal and friendly, and the warm Croatian welcome that guests receive is incomparable.
Vestibul Palace has its own restaurant which is small and unassuming, but delivers delicious meals and has a great wine selection in its cellar. Outside of the hotel, guests will be spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants and bars, with a wide choice within the palace walls. Enjoy sundowners on the Riva or catch live music at the nearby Peristil square, and soak up Split's incredible atmosphere.
The hotel has eleven rooms split between two buildings: the main Hotel Vestibul Palace and Villa Dobric which are about 250 meters apart. The main building houses Superior Rooms, Junior Suite and a Luxury Suite, while Standard and Superior Rooms are located in Villa Dobric. To really get a sense of place take a Junior Suite or Luxury Suite in the main building, which are constructed from the ancient palace walls.

Breakfast can also be taken in the pretty courtyard in front of the hotel during the summer months. The hotel's location in the heart of the Old City means you are steps away from a wide selection of restaurants and cafes when you wish to explore.
Staying at Vestibul Palace means you literally have the Old City on your doorstep, making it the ideal place from which to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace itself was built between 298-305 AD and still is one of the finest examples of the architecture of the late Empire. The harbor front outside the palace walls is very scenic and lined with cafes and ice cream parlours where you can relax in the sunshine and watch the world go by. It is also possible to do day tours by boat to the nearby islands of Hvar, Vis and Brac.
