Winter is the perfect time to visit Finnish Lapland. The winter temperatures can vary anywhere between 0°C and -40°C. The average temperature in January is -14°C, but the cold is not biting because the air is dry. There can be as much as one metre of snow and it usually lasts until May. There is potential for Northern Lights viewing throughout the winter months.

Levi Panorama Hotel in Finnish Lapland is the perfect base for keen skiers who want a little more from their ski holiday. With husky sledding, snowmobiling and Northern Lights sighting all possible, the Panorama will keep adults and children alike happy.

The hotel is located just 15-minutes from Kittila Airport, accessed via an easy connection in Helsinki. Then hotel is located on the top of one of Finnish Lapland's famous fells and thus boasts sweeping views and prime Aurora Borealis viewing.

Expect high quality ski hotel accommodation, hearty breakfasts and easy access to the ski slopes as well as proximity to husky and reindeer farms, snow-mobiling tracks, Father Christmas and ice-fishing and driving to name a few.

The rooms are spacious with many offering the choice of an ubiquitous Finnish sauna or a bath. The Suites have amazing views and you may be lucky enough to spy the Aurora Borealis from your balcony!

Located on the seventh-floor are the panorama saunas and lounge with fireplace open to hotel guests on a daily basis. There is a choice of restaurants at the hotel itself including an authentic Sámi turf Gammi (a hut built into the ground) which you will find in the hotel's courtyard. The Sámi Gammi offers traditional Lapland delicacies around an open fire with joikha music and tales of Lapland told to diners by local people. And if you prefer to venture out the chair lift from the hotel takes you right to the centre of Levi where you can find even a sushi restaurant!
