Wadigi (pronounced Waan-dingi), an intimate private island hideaway, combines stylish accommodation and gourmet dining with first class service to offer a unique and unforgettable experience which simply cannot be found anywhere else in the South Pacific. Accessible via a 10-15 minute scenic helicopter or seaplane flight from Nadi (on Fiji's main island), Wadigi is designed exclusively for either one romantic couple, or a small group of up to six people.
Accommodation is provided in three beautifully appointed air-conditioned suites - the Honeymoon Suite, the Sunrise Suite and the Sunset Suite - all of which enjoy an elevated position on Wadigi's lush sloping hillside with breathtaking ocean views. Each suite is elegantly furnished and are connected by expansive sundecks which create a breezy indoors/outdoor ambiance. Wadigi's main living room contains an extensive range of DVDs, CDs, magazines and board games, as well as a television and a fridge stocked with refreshments.
A stay on Wadigi Island comes complete with your own team of island staff - two gourmet chefs, a personal butler, a housekeeper and boat captain - all of whom, together with your hosts Jim and Tracey Johnston, offer a warm Fijian welcome. As a guest at Wadigi, you have the use of your own boat - and of course, your own boat captain. Most activities are included in your stay, but additional activities such as diving and parasailing can be arranged for an additional fee. For keen surfers, there are some world-class reef breaks within easy reach.

Wadigi Island is a small 3 acre private island fringed by a turquoise lagoon, and discreetly tucked away in Fiji's Mamanuca island group.
When to go
Maximum temperatures rarely move out of the 31°C (88°F) to 26°C (79°F) range all year round. Southeast trade winds from March to November bring dry weather and the rainy season runs from December to April.
Fiji does have a wet season, which is characterized by heavy, brief local showers and contributes most of the country’s annual rainfall. The wet season is normally from November to April and results from the southerly movements of the South Pacific Convergence Zone. Cyclones do occur in Fiji and are normally confined to wet season.
The best months for vacationing in regards to Fiji weather is late March through to early December.
