Sail Ningaloo's Shore Thing is a 51-foot catamaran that sleeps up to 10 people. With three of its cabins having en suites, we would recommend traveling with only 6 guests on board for a more comfortable stay.
Shore Thing can be hired exclusively for any number of nights to sail around this stunning, remote coastal reef, and itineraries can be tailored to suit your preferences. Ningaloo Reef is situated in Western Australia and is the largest fringing reef in the southern hemisphere. This hidden treasure boasts some incredible marine life and coral that is truly untouched, and you are very likely to encounter humpback whales, dolphins, dugongs, manta rays, turtles, giant cod and reef sharks.
The cabins are simple and small but there is plenty of room for all on deck, for relaxing and sunbathing at the front to dining in the evenings. The dedicated crew will host you impeccably with delicious meals prepared on board and experienced guiding provided for diving and snorkeling.
Of course, seeing the underwater world here is the main highlight, but you can also enjoy kayaking, fishing, swimming and simply relaxing, taking in the beautiful coastal scenery whilst feeling a million miles away from anywhere.
Rooms aboard Shore Thing are simple and compact but cleverly designed to maximize storage space, with cupboards and cubby holes galore. The Stateroom King, Stateroom triple and Stateroom Twin all feature an en-suite with toilet and shower, air-conditioning and fan. The Stateroom Triple boasts a double bed with an additional single bunk, or can alternatively house three single beds. The Deluxe Double Cabin does not have an en-suite but still provides air-conditioning and a fan for a comfortable stay.
The forward deck and trampoline area is the perfect place to relax and sunbathe as you sail around the reef, and the saloon area provides plenty of space to seat all guests comfortably should they need a little more shade.
Kayaking, fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling can be enjoyed in the waters of Ningaloo Reef. For an additional charge, exhilarating excursions to swim with whale sharks can also be arranged.
