Inspired by the traditional Arabian courtyard summer houses and with no more than 11 rooms in each house, they offer an element of privacy yet still have easy access to the superb facilities of Madinat Jumeirah. The Arabian Summer Houses are scattered around the resort and have the benefit of a private pool for every three or four units. The Gulf Summer Houses are located along the beach and offer excellent sea views together with easy access to the beach. Both options present the most luxurious accommodation within the Madinat complex.
Within Madinat Jumeirah there is a huge choice of facilities available including an excellent Kid’s Club, a wonderful spa (both located at Al Qasr), a reconstructed and air conditioned souk and a choice of 23 restaurants, bars and cafes. All this is spread out amongst stunning landscaped gardens and a 1km private beach. A quirky addition is the 3.7km of waterways with traditional boats to transfer guests from place to place.
Dar Al Masyaf offers 283 rooms and suites spread out between 29 Summer Houses. Rooms are beautifully furnished in an antique Arabian style and feature luxurious room amenities, intricately detailed bathroom with bath and walk-in rain shower and exclusive butler service. Internet access and Wild Wadi Water Park entry are both complimentary.

Arabian Summer Houses have a delightfully serene setting with private beach access and positioned to offer a view of lush landscape and waterways. They have subtle Arabian decor and private balcony and secluded terrace to private majlis and generous marble bathroom. Gulf Summer Houses have an authentic Arabian design of ochre hues - they either are situated closer to the private beach (Arabian) or with an Ocean View. The beach is accessible through a garden courtyard. There is a private balcony and secluded terrace to private majlis, as well as a generous sized marble bathroom. The Gulf Summerhouses are available on request at booking with either King or twin beds. A private check in and a butler provides an exclusive service

Arabian Summer House Arabian Suite is designed in an opulent distinct Middle Eastern style of warm tones and natural colored tiles together with antique furnishing. There is a well appointed bathroom with wardrobe feature and generous amenities; a separate lounge and dining area with pantry, a lush garden and waterway views from the duo of shared pool terraces. Gulf Summer House Suites are designed in cool blue hues and white linens. Either with beach access (Arabian) or uninterrupted Ocean panoramic views (Ocean).
Gulf Summerhouse suites have a spacious lounge area, majilis and bedroom decorated with authentic Arabian furnishings. It's spacious bathroom has generous amenities and a wardrobe feature. A private pantry assist for dining and entertaining, as well as the private butler service. There are two terraces for outdoor relaxation.
Dar Al Masyaf is highly recommended for children and has an excellent Kid’s Club at the neighboring Al Qasr.
Within the Madinat Jumeirah complex there are swimming pools, a spa, kid’s club, health club, water sports center, souk, 23 restaurants and bars and off-site diving and golf.

Madinat Jumeirah lies in a superb location along the prestigious Jumeirah beach strip, on the Arabian Coastline near Burj Al Arab.
When to go
The best time to visit the UAE is between October and November and then February and March, when temperatures hang around the mid-20s and the humidity is under control. While December and January are generally considered the best months to go, the weather over the last couple of ‘winters’ has been unpredictable with occasional cloud and rain.
The month of Ramadan means hotel rates are heavily discounted, but while outside the resort, Ramadan is strictly adhered to, within the resorts you will notice very little difference.
High summer (July and August) means heavy discounted hotels it’s a great option for a cheap getaway but it will be very very hot and very very humid!
