Cruise along the magical coastline of the Sultanate in elegance and style on board your very own private luxury yacht. Day charter or customized overnight trips for up to seven nights are available.
Occupying the south-east corner of the Arabian peninsula Oman offers calm seas, crystal clear water and a prevailing north-easterly wind providing idyllic sailing conditions. Oman is the only country in the region where bareboat sailing charters are permitted.
You can also enjoy all the freedom of a bareboat yacht charter with the added benefit of an RYA qualified skipper. The skippers not only ensure a stress free vacation for the more inexperienced sailor but also bring with them local knowledge, ensuring you don't miss out on any of the breathtaking sights that Oman has to offer.
A typical day aboard Oman Sail would include a spot of dolphin watching followed by a cruise up the coast to take in historical sites such as the Muscat Palace and the old coastal forts. A short hop to Falal Island for a mid morning break before continuing on to Bandar Jissa and then Bandar Khiran for a BBQ lunch on one of the secluded beaches. The afternoon can then be spent snorkeling in the crystal clear waters and reeds of Bander Khiran or simply relaxing on the beach.
Each of the four cabins aboard enjoy a private shower room. The Master suite is fitted with an island bed, while the three supplementary cabins have semi-island beds. The boat is air-conditioned throughout.
Oman Sail is either fully catered or guests may bring their own food aboard. Oman Sail can provide picnic hampers or BBQ lunches, on request. There is room on deck for you to sunbathe and there is an eating area. The boat has some equipment for snorkeling and watersport activities.
During your time aboard Oman Sail you will have lots of activities to choose from. You could go snorkeling, diving, sailing, or go on a fishing trip with a local Omani fisherman as your guide, If you want to do something a little less strenuous, bird watching and dolphin watching are wonderful.

When to go
The best time to visit Oman is between November and mid-March, when the cooler air brings the mountain scenery sharply into focus and daytime temperatures average at 25°C. For the rest of the year, much of Oman is oppressively hot and hazy, particularly between May and August.
