The Movenpick consists of a total of 340 rooms and suites. The resort is split into two sections – the main block’s rooms mostly have views over the sea and have easy access to the lobby and nearby facilities while the other guest rooms are located in two-storey village complexes built with traditional stone and named after archaeological sites in Jordan. Location & Directions

Dead Sea, Jordan

Set on the northern shores of the Dead Sea at the lowest point on Earth Located on the northern shores of the Dead Sea, the resort is just 55 km from Amman city. The Dead Sea is conveniently located, just 1 hour from Amman and 45 minutes from the airport and 3.5 hours from Petra.

When to go

For a small country, Jordan has an extraordinary range of climates. The best time to visit climate-wise is in spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when the daytime temperatures aren't too extreme. April is probably the best month, when temperatures are warm and wildflowers are in bloom. March can be cold and rainy in the north but is balmy by the Gulf of Aqaba and the Dead Sea.
