Nepal has a Monsoonal climate with four main seasons. Fall and spring are the two most favourable seasons for visiting Nepal. Fall (September to early December) brings in clear weather with sunny days and warm nights. Spring (March to May) with occasional rain falls. From June to September, is the monsoon season. Uncomfortable time to visit as the climate of Nepal at this time of year brings about hot weather and rain falls almost every day.

The Pavilions Himalayas is a luxurious eco-sensitive retreat in the heart of Nepal's Pokhara region. The tranquil rural setting of the hotel, a short drive outside of Pokhara city provide the perfect balance between exploration and relaxation.
Within easy reach of Phewa Lake and the Annapurna mountains, The Pavilions Himalayas is a intimate villa-only property with just 15 keys that provides both an ideal base for embarking on a range of light-adventure in the surrounding Pokhara region or a meditative retreat in the heart of the Nepalese countryside. Expect warm hospitality and delicious farm-to-table dishes incorporating ingredients from the on-site organic farm, along with a comfortable bed and the privacy of your own private villa in which to unwind.
The spacious villas are spread around a central club house, each tastefully decorated in neutral tones with a hint of the traditional; Nepalese artifacts adorn the walls and splashes of color add a touch of warmth throughout the bedrooms and living areas. Each villa enjoys spectacular views of the impressive Annapurna peaks from its own private terrace or garden. A communal lounge can be found within the club house, along with the restaurant and other facilities including the swimming pool, fitness center, sauna, Jacuzzi and spa.
A more recent addition to the property is a series of tented eco-villas perched above Phewa Lake, known as Pavilions Himalayas - Lake View. Reached by paddleboat and a short hike, these tented villas lets guests enjoy un-obscured views over the surrounding rice fields, lake, and Annapurna Himalayas without sacrificing too many home comforts. Dining here involves a delicious series of local and international dishes, with menus crafted daily. An additional a la carte menu is available at the club house.
Activities in the region range from soft adventures, trekking, farm activities and cooking classes to adrenaline sports such as white-water rafting. Soothe aching muscles in the spa, treat yourself to a champagne breakfast or soak in the culture with a trip to a local monastery.
There are fifteen villas at The Pavilions Himalayas, some of which are standalone and some of which interconnect, ideal for family guests. Each comes with its own terrace, private garden and stunning views of the Annapurna mountains which dominate the skyline. Decor is contemporary with flashes of traditional Nepalese design and delightful local artifacts and artwork. Complimentary WiFi is also included in all rooms.
The Pavilions Himalayas Lake View consists of 8 luxury tented villas overlook Lake Phewa backdropped by the majestic Himalayan mountain range. Each villa offers a back to nature experience combined with many of the modern comforts that can be enjoyed at the main property. Positioned a generous distance away from each other, the villas provide guests utmost privacy, offering the ultimate lakeside hideaway.
There are no specific child care facilities, however children are welcome and will certainly not be short of things to keep them entertained. Activities around the farm and in the local area abound and the pool can also be used by children.
The club house is home to the lounge and restaurant, serving up delicious creations which incorporate ingredients that have been grown on the on-site farm. There is also a pool which enjoys spectacular views over the surrounding valleys and a spa, Jacuzzi, wellness center and sauna.

Set outside of Pokahar and nestled in a valley you will not have great views from the mountains but you will have great views of the mountains and the valley. Set close to the river and a small village it is peace and quiet and tranquillity with beautiful villas decorated in fusion modern/nepalese and with wonderful fresh food. This is a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

How to get there
10-hour flight (with one change) to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, followed by a 1-hour domestic flight to Pokhara. The Pavilions is approximately 6km from Pokhara airport.
