Step on board the Soneva in Aqua and experience the Maldives like never before. This luxury yacht is operated by the renowned Soneva Resorts and Residences, providing guests with fantastic service and the utmost in comfort. The yacht departs from the Soneva Fushi resort, sailing around the Baa Atoll, but the itinerary is customized each day according to guests' requests. With just two cabins and a maximum of four guests, a stay on Soneva in Aqua is exclusive and intimate.
Soneva in Aqua is 19.25 meters long, 6.40 meters wide and cruises at 8 knots. The size of the yacht lends itself to a spacious Master Suite, which features an impressive glass-bottomed sunken bath at the center of the room. Surveying the underwater world below as you soak in this bath is a truly unique experience, and the ultimate in peace and relaxation. The guest cabin has a king-sized bed and en-suite facilities, ensuring comfort for all guests. Rooms are decorated with light cottons, brown leathers and woods, and the use of these natural materials provides a bright and airy atmosphere on board Soneva in Aqua.
The upper deck of the yacht features a comfortable lounge area for relaxing and outdoor dining, and the lower level has ample space for on-board spa treatments from an expert Six Senses trained therapist, and there is also a Jacuzzi for two. Indoors, there is a library, lounge and dining room for cosy evenings and entertaining. Soneva in Aqua also provides a handful of staff to assist guests during their stay, and the Captain will work closely with guests to plan their itinerary and stops for each day's sailing.
There are many sand islands throughout the atoll that are the perfect stopping place for a swim, or to enjoy lunch on the beach. Spa treatments or activities such as tai chi and yoga can be arranged on these islands, as well as at sea. For an extremely special evening, sleep under the stars on the sundeck as the minimal light pollution ensures fantastic stargazing, with the help of the staff who have been trained by Soneva's very own astronomer.
Diving opportunities are fantastic while on Soneva in Aqua, and guests will have the option of day, night and sunrise dives. Snorkelling is also available, and guests even have the opportunity to discover the art of sailing during onboard lessons for those interested in learning the skills required.
In late 2016 a new Soneva resort, Soneva Jani, will open, and guests will then have the option to visit both resorts, using Soneva in Aqua as a luxury transfer between the two. This is a superb alternative to the one-hour speedboat transfer, allowing guests to enjoy a leisurely day cruise in comfort and style.
The two cabins on board Soneva in Aqua are spacious and comfortable, and tastefully designed with natural materials such as organic cotton. The Master Suite features a glass-bottomed bath, as well as a shower, while the guest cabin has a king-sized bed and en-suite facilities. All modern amenities are provided.
