Jawai Leopard Camp - Rajasthan

As far as safari experiences go, Jawai is certainly a contender for one of the most unique. With 8 luxurious tents enveloped by the moonlike landscape of the Aravalli Range, Jawai is an exclusive spot offering sophisticated accommodation and incredible wildlife encounters. Jawai is best known for its leopard population which roam the park in peaceful coexistence with the region's Rabari herdsmen who have lived and worked on the land for many years. Leopards are believed to guard the park's many sacred temples and their importance in Rabari culture is embedded into the ethos of Jawai.

Leopard Trails - Sri Lanka

Leopard Trails camps are located in Wilpattu and Yala National Parks, offering guests a unique camping experience in the Sri Lankan wilderness. While away your days at Leopard Trails tracking the eponymous big cat before sitting down to a delicious dinner of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in the evenings. The camps are great for kids too, by offering a tailor made Junior Ranger Programme, little ones can learn about Sri Lanka's wildlife and discover more about the conservation and protection of leopards in the wild.

The Ultimate Travelling Camp - India

Originally based in Nagaland, in India’s most easterly reaches, the Ultimate Travelling Camp now operates in Ladakh - in the Himalayas - too. In Nagaland, the Kohima Camp is set up annually to coincide with the fantastic Hornbill Festival, giving guests an invaluable insight into the traditions and fascinating culture of this corner of India. In Ladakh, its two camps are centred around their truly spectacular locale.
