Due to temperatures and precipitation, Delhi and much of northern India can be an extreme place to visit during certain months of the year. The hottest months of the year are May and June, during which time temperatures can get up to 40°C. The coldest months are from December until February whilst the monsoon season is from the end of May through to August. During this time although the the temperature cools, the humidity is very high, and rainstorms are frequent. It is not advised to visit during these months. The best season to visit is between October and March when the weather is pleasant and very cool, making it great for sightseeing.

Accommodation at Jaagir Lodge is split up into three different room types. Stay in the main lodge in a luxury room or suite, or alternatively opt for a luxury villa. Each villa is made with a traditional thatched roof and offers a little more privacy than the other rooms. Enjoy your own private outsdoor seating area, and the extra space here.
Dudwha itself is known as being one of the most fertile lands in the world. This unexplored paradise is full of rich vegetation; Sal tree forests and plenty of wildlife. Spot tigers, elephants, rhinos and crocodiles here. There are over 450 different bird species here, and the area is also home to almost half of the world's Barasingha population.
Elsewhere, guests can also explore the three other reserves in the area; Katarnighat, Kishanpur and Pilibhit. When not exploring the local flora and fauna, you may wish to visit the villages of the famous Tharu tribe and immerse yourself in local life.

Children are welcome at Jaagir Lodge Dudhwa, but please be aware the journey to the lodge can be quite long for younger guests.
