The Oberoi Amarvilas is an all-round high class property offering excellent service and facilities. Every room at the hotel offers impressive views of the Taj Mahal which really does lead to a truly unique and memorable stay. After a busy day of sightseeing, Amarvilas is a great hotel to return to with its grand Mughal gardens, beautiful pool and spa. The food here is also delicious - I'd highly recommend visiting Esphahn for dinner.

Mr Mike Russell (Guest)

Standard western 5 star chain hotel, but with the most spectacular views of the Taj Mahal from every room and beautiful gardens.

Clare Monro (Staff)

If you are looking for a hotel in Agra with the wow factor, this is certainly it! The hotel itself is beautiful, with intricate decor and lovely gardens. But what really sets it apart from the rest is its view of the Taj Mahal from every room and suite, as well as from the restaurants. It does come with a price tag though! The food is delicious as well.

Jessica Cator (Staff)

This hotel has managed to capture the reason for your stay in practically very window available to it. You can see the Taj Mahal from your room, the lobby, and even whilst you have a massage in the couples treatment spa. Amarvilas is also the perfect place to sit back and relax after a long days sightseeing the in hustle and bustle of Agra. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Susie Reynolds (Staff)

This hotel blew me away. It is eleven years old [at the time of writing] and while the rooms have not been hugely updated since their creation, the hotel itself, is the most spectacular place to stay while in the home of the Taj Mahal. The Mughul gardens, grounds and pool really set this so apart from the other offerings in the area, it could not be more worth it. The views to the Taj are exquisite, the dance performances in the evening, beautiful and the entire experience unforgettable.

Emma Neale (Staff)

I loved Amarvilas because for me it was the perfect place to return after a hectic day of sight seeing in Agra. It really felt like a retreat away from the crowds. Full marks must also go to this hotel for having the ultimate bathroom with a view - you can see the Taj Mahal whilst sitting in the bathtub!
