This way of camping is simple but allows guests to totally immerse themselves in a nomadic traveling experience
Unlike most mobile camps, Kaafila will take you on a journey through some of the most wild and remote parts of this fascinating country. Traveling without boundaries, your nomadic voyage will take you through a treasure trove of mountainous scenery - vast, rugged and stunningly beautiful.
The mission of Kaafila is simple and lies in its mobility, allowing its intrepid guests the freedom to explore India's Terra Incognita. The camps are comfortable and luxurious but the aim is to provide exclusive access to remote locations; so much more than a glamping experience. In particular, the Baghelkhand region of central India is a hidden gem waiting to be explored. Discover the fortress city of Kalinjar and the rugged Vindhya Hills beyond. Located close to Khuajuraho, Kalinjar Fort once served as a stronghold during the Bundekhand and Chandela dynasties.
The tents are furnished in traditional Indian textiles, designed to ensure a comfortable stay throughout your journey. During the day enjoy a combination of walking, cycling and driving through the varying landscapes of your expedition. A hearty evening meal around the campfire swapping stories and anecdotes makes for an unforgettable end to the day.
