Paradise Peak is one of three Paradise Cruises vessels, a brand now very much established in Halong Bay as the most luxurious junk boats in the bay.
Paradise Peak lends itself to groups or couples wanting a more intimate and exclusive cruise. With only eight cabins guests can expect a spacious room with a large en-suite and private dining area. Each cabin has floor to ceiling windows which ensure you can take in the breathtaking views of the famous bay.
Meals can be taken in your cabin or in the restaurant and include delicious seafood platters. Throughout their stay guests can enjoy the private butler service on board - this is so much more than just cruising. It is the small touches and attention to detail which make this boat appear like a luxury floating hotel.
Itineraries usually last between 1-2 nights. Destinations en-route can include Bai Tu Long Bay, Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island; you will never tire of the dramatic scenery! Excursions include activities such as visiting a local fishing village on a rowing boat, swimming off a private beach, fishing with locals and visiting caves. On board you can enjoy cooking classes, sunbathing, tai chi, wine tasting and massages.
Paradise Peak has just three cabin types - Junior Suite, Superior Suite and Premium Suite. The higher room categories have more indoor and outdoor space but most cabins are all furnished in a similar way and are hugely comfortable.
There are two Junior Suites on board Paradise Peak, both located on the first deck with private dining area.
There are four Superior Suites on Paradise Peak measuring 40sqm and featuring private balconies.
There are just two Premium Suites on board Paradise Peak with private front terrace and private bathroom balcony.
Children are welcome on board Paradise Peak but there are no specific facilities for them. The service on board is very personalized and the crew will do their utmost to make sure your stay as a family is as enjoyable as possible. Children will love the excitement of sleeping on board and having the ocean and all its adventures right on the doorstep. Extra beds can be added to some cabins.
All meals are included during your stay on board Paradise Peak. Most meals will be taken in the dining room but you have the option to dine in your room if you opt for a Junior Suite. There will be a mix of a la carte, buffet and set menus using locally sourced food. On some evenings an amazing seafood BBQ will be served on deck.
Activities during your stay on board Paradise Peak include boat trips to beautiful deserted beaches and unspoiled fishing villages, Tai Chi classes, kayaking, wine tasting and even Vietnamese cookery classes available on request.

When to go
The best time of year to visit Halong Bay is during the spring or autumn. Because the bay is situated in the northern part of the country, it can get colder in the winter. The rainy season here is at its peak in July to September. July is the hottest month, January the coolest. The dry season runs from November to April.
