The central region of Vietnam has a tropical climate, particularly around Hué and is divided into two distinguished seasons. The dry season (from March to August) has a maximum temperature of 40°C and the colder, rainy season (August to January) has temperatures that can go down to 19°C.
From March to August will be the best time to visit Hue, especially between March and April when the temperature is more pleasant, though rainfalls are still likely. Hue sees fog and rain quite frequently, even when the weather across the Hai Van Pass in nearby Danang is sunny. During the rainy season, between September and January, rain is more frequent and can be heavy.
There are several festivals in Hue and worth taking note in planning your travel. Each year, during the seventh month of the lunar year, Hue celebrates the Duong No ceremony, Vietnamese all souls’ days, and Hon Chen Temple Festival. In addition, every two years, there is a special Hue Festival which lasts for two weeks in June.

Fusion Maia is a perfect option for couples looking to properly relax, unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet together. The majority of the resort is made up of the lovely one bedroom pool villas. With an approx. indoor/outdoor space of 100msq theres a plenty of space for two people in these modern spacious suites. As the name suggests these all have private pools & small gardens. Privacy is the name of the game here and the walls around the villas make sure of this. As you might know the great thing about Fusion Maia is that included in the cost of the room is 2 x SPA treatments a day a first of its kind and a real hit with guests! The grounds & resort itself are also nice, with pink / purple being the main theme you cant help but come out but feeling relaxed!

Everything about Fusion Maia invites you to relax which is exactly how I felt as soon as I experienced my first spa treatment of the stay. With two daily treatments guaranteed as a minimum and unlimited treatments available it is hard not to relax here. It very much has a rejuvenating atmosphere and the health benefits of the hotel can be taken as seriously as you like or not at all meaning that it is a great option for couples that want to relax/ be healthy/ or completely indulge!

If youre looking for a relaxing beach destination in Vietnam, then Fusion Maia would work really well. It is just 20 minutes from Danang international airport and there is very much an emphasis on relaxation and wellness here. The menus are very healthy with some wonderful fresh juices and salads on offer, there is an aurora of calm in all the public places with soft pink and purple color schemes and of course, the all inclusive spa treatments is really quite a unique and welcoming concept. The pool villas are huge so much indoor and outdoor space! It is about a 30-minute drive to Hoi An and there is a complimentary shuttle bus to take you here and back- Danang is closer although perhaps not so pretty.

This stylish and contemporary hotel has a very cool and relaxed vibe from the moment you arrive. The bamboo and hanging lanterns, white washed walls and dark teak wood give the interiors a funky, modern appeal. In the restaurant there is a pianist playing while you dine on local cuisine. Breakfast can be taken at any time of the day from anywhere you choose. With each villa comes a private pool and close proximity to the beach.
The staff are friendly and helpful, so definitely take advantage of their local knowledge and hop on the complimentary shuttle bus into Hoi An. I recommend a stroll around the three main streets of Old Town to enjoy the quirky shops and very talented tailors. The very best thing about Fusion Maia is that all the spa treatments are included in the cost of your stay, so you can indulge in as many massages as you like without feeling guilty!

The stunning infinity pool which looks onto the beautiful long beach in front of the Fusion Maia makes it a very appealing place to stay. The villas at this hotel are contemporary in style and allow plenty of privacy. We sat down to such a delicious lunch, not only is the food extremely tasty but its healthy as well and presented immaculately. If you are wanting some time out of the hotel, the shuttle bus will take you into my favorite town of Hoi An where you can soak up all the local atmosphere and really experience the local food.
