Description

Amanoi is the Aman debut in Vietnam. Situated on the dramatic coastline of the Nui Chua National Park, one of Vietnam's largest natural conservation sites, Amanoi offers a truly special experience.

Amanoi is a tranquil clifftop resort set in a beautiful manicured landscape. A wonderful full service spa makes it the ultimate relaxation retreat.

Amanoi's 31 Pavilions and five Aman Villas are all nestled into the rugged hillside, providing plenty of privacy and impressive views with a fusion of contemporary elegance and traditional Vietnamese architectural styles. Each Pavilion is timeless with beautiful clean lines. The combined sleeping and living areas seamlessly moves from inside to out with the timber sundecks. The Pool Pavilions come equipped with private swimming pool and panoramic views out over the expansive Vinh Hy Bay or Nui Chua National Park. For even more space, each Aman Villa consists of four or five free standing bedroom pavilions with separate living and dining pavilions and large private swimming pool - perfect for those travelling in larger groups.

The Central Pavilion includes the Main Lodge restaurant, which leads onto an expansive outdoor terrace and cliff-side outdoor pool, whilst at sea level lies the Beach Club, which includes a relaxed outdoor restaurant. Fish features heavily on the menu, the natural choice being in such close proximity to the local fishing village. The Rock Studio offers a number of culinary experiences in a wonderfully atmospheric setting amongst the wilderness overlooking the ocean including cookery classes, private dining and Chef's Table dinners.

There is a fantastic array of water sports available at the beach club from snorkelling to kayaking and from sailing to kite-surfing. For those wishing to explore further, Amanoi offers a whole host of fantastic experiences from exploring the region's spectacular beaches, marine reserves and pristine interiors as well as private dining experiences in local homes . For those wishing for a different form of distraction, the spa at Amanoi is a destination in itself. Set beside a lotus filled lake and surrounded by the National Park's rolling hills, it's arguably the best spa in the country. They offer a full range of treatments using Aman Spa's all natural, chemical-free spa product range complemented by traditional Vietnamese ingredients including aromatic herbs, rice and coffee. It's complete secret oasis.

Another amazing Aman property - the surroundings are absolutely stunning as it is located in a National Park - lots of greenery, loads of small wildlife as well. The beach is lovely, quiet and secluded with nice views across the bay to a small fishing village. There is a secret beach just around the bay which is really nice to take a picnic too by kayak for a private beach experience.

My time at the Amanoi was nothing short of fantastic. The 1 1/4 hour drive will fly by and you take in Vietnam's central coastline to get to one of the most picturesque spots the country has to offer. The Amanoi is completely on its own in the middle of a protected national park so it's beautiful, relaxing an quiet. The resort itself is cast over many acres and made up of 26 pavilions and 5 villas (which are great for families). The pavilions at 95sqm are an great size and offer lots of privacy and amazing views. I was in a Pool Pavilion mountain view which was ideal, lovely views onto the jagged mountains and a beautiful sunset in the evening. The service was one of the things that stood out for me, it was impeccable. The staff all over the resort are extremely friendly & attentive and you can't help but feel at home. During the day it's worth heading down to the beautiful private beach where there's all sorts of complimentary non-motorised water sports available. There's sailing, sea-kayaking (which I did), stand up paddle boarding and windsurfing. The resort all offers tennis, volley ball, Thi Chi, yoga, an amazing spa and many off site activities which you have to try. It's a resort for those who want to relax and those who want to be active and everything in between - a great choice!

The location of Amanoi is incredible. It is an hour and a half drive away from Nha Trang Airport. The drive is so pretty as you pass lots of local fishing villages and rice paddies and as you get near to the hotel you drive along a winding coastal path which is stunning. Amanoi is located within a national park with no other hotels around so you really do feel like you away from everything just surrounded by this beautiful scenery. All of the pavilions are scattered over the estate and are at least 6 meters apart so provides so much privacy. From my Ocean View Pool Pavilion the only thing that I could see was the incredible sea views and beautiful surrounding jungle. The only time that I felt like there was even anyone staying at the hotel was at meal times or by the two beautiful pools.
